• Engines are supplied with an electrical means of ignition, which consists of a resistance wire. The passing electric current heats it up, which then ignites the engine's propellant mixture. It is essential that the wire touches the propellant mixture. The minimum current value for starting the engine is 1.5 A. Use only sources with low internal resistance that are able to supply this current! We recommend using, for example, a 7.2 V NiMH battery with a capacity of min. 3000 mAh or 7.4 V lithium batteries with a capacity of min. 2000mAh.
