Engine ignition instructions
Insert the starter (thumb) into the engine so that the ignition mixture on the ignition touches the inner wall of the propellant. We recommend that you bend the conductor wires so that the ignition mixture on the firing pin is propelled to the inner wall of the propellant. Engage engine throttle and wires in engine plug.

Use a high quality alkaline nine volt battery to power the starter. Conventional zinc chloride is unable to provide sufficient current to reliably ignite the firing pin. A 2 A current is required to ignite the fire!
