Instructions for starting the engine with the optional electric torch
Insert the starter (torch) into the engine so that the flammable mixture on the torch touches the inner wall of the propellant mixture. We recommend bending the torch wires so that the flammable mixture on the torch is springed to the inner wall of the propellant mixture. Secure the torch and wires in the engine with an engine seal.

Use high-quality alkaline batteries to power the starter. Conventional zinc chlorides are not able to supply enough current for reliable ignition of the torch. A current of c is required to ignite the torch ca 2 A!
