    The latest version of the 3D mini-helicopter M2 features a completely redesigned and significantly lighter fuselage, a new rotor head with improved damping inserts allowing greater cyclic and collective control deflections, new main rotor blades and a trim rotor.
    CCPM gyrus board controlled by electronically mixed servos, flybarless "paddleless" rotor head with 3G three-axis gyroscopic system (fully adjustable in the mobile application) instead of the usual mechanical stabilizer and gyro stabilizing the helicopter around the vertical axis, powerful brushless motor and electronic speed controller with governor function, intelligent control unit allowing operation in tilt stabilization mode suitable for helicopter beginners as well as in 3D mode for wild aerobatics without limits - you can find all this in the M2 V3PRO mini helicopter with a main rotor with a diameter of 434 mm!

    Let's take a closer look at this latest gem from the OMP Hobby design offices. The basis of the fuselage structure is a duralumin engine bed and main shaft housing with attached carbon sidewalls and crossbars, a plastic skid chassis and a tail beam made of profiled duralumin tube with a carbon vertical stabilizer. The frame houses a new, more powerful AC electric motor Sunnysky® R40X-3 with a rotating casing, driving the main rotor directly, without the usual gears. Similarly, the newly optimized APEX 45 balancing rotor directly drives a miniature lightweight AC motor Sunnysky® R13X-3 with . Thanks to this, the entire mechanics are simplified to the maximum, eliminating problems with rubbing slides, brushed gears or slipping drives.

    The robust 4 mm main shaft is mounted in ball bearings. The swashplate is made of duralumin, as is the rotor head with blade carriers. Thanks to the 3G flybarless system and electronic CCPM, the rotor head with its newly optimized geometry and increased range of cyclic and collective control deflections is very simple. The main rotor blade carriers are a beautiful miniature of the carriers of "big" RC helicopters - with all those ball bearings and damping inserts! The new APEX 190 rotor blades offer higher efficiency and lower noise; at the same time they have sufficient rigidity to handle a larger range of control deflections.

    The helicopter's electronics consist of an intelligent control unit with a new 3G flybarless OFS3 control unit with an integrated electronic speed controller with governor function for the main rotor motor and a regulator for the trim rotor motor; and three 10g digital servos DS2710MG (1.65 kg.cm, 0.08 s/60°) controlling the CCPM (120°) mixed swashplate. To control the helicopter, you will need at least a six-channel RC kit with a miniature receiver with an S.BUS port (or also DSM2/DSMX and newly also with a bidirectional CRSF protocol with telemetry - the TBS Crossfire, Tracer and ExpressLRS systems are supported). For ordinary flying, the transmitter does not even have to be computer-based (all the necessary mixes are provided by the control unit), only 4 channels "on the sticks" and the fifth channel with a two-position switch for switching the control unit modes with stabilization and 3D. Of course, for full-fledged classic and 3D flying, you need a computer transmitter with adjustable 2-3 flight modes with at least five-point collective curves for hovering and aerobatics and another mode for autorotation. Thanks to the extensive control unit settings in the mobile application (including detailed PIDF control loop settings), most of the settings that previously required an advanced computer RC kit can be made on your mobile in the application (for iOS and Android operating systems). You can, but you don't have to - the control unit is supplied pre-set; its basic parameters can also be fine-tuned if necessary using the programming button and indicator LEDs on the control unit, as was the case with older versions of OMPHOBBY control units.

    The easily removable sports cabin is made of a very lightweight molded durable plastic - you can choose from four color schemes ensuring good visibility and "readability" of the helicopter's position in the air. The helicopter is powered by a three-cell LiPo battery 11.1 V 750 mAh with a load capacity of 60C (with XT30 connector) located on the underside of the fuselage. It will provide you with up to 10 minutes of simple flying or up to 4 minutes of aggressive 3D aerobatics.

    The helicopter is delivered fully assembled with a preset control unit, so just unpack the helicopter, connect your S.BUS/DSM2/DSMX/CRSF compatible receiver, charge the drive battery, set up your transmitter according to the detailed instructions with illustrative pictures, check all the helicopter functions - and you can take off!

    The M2 V3 PRO is a full-fledged 3D helicopter with a controlled collective - and as such it assumes and requires appropriate piloting experience. It is not a "drone" where you just add gas, it takes off and hangs "like nailed" without any control intervention. The M2 V3 PRO will be fully enjoyed by intermediate to advanced pilots who already have experience flying helicopters with a controlled collective ("six-channel"). However, with a sufficient dose of perseverance, humility, prior diligent training on a computer RC simulator, under the supervision of an experienced pilot and using the stabilized mode, even a novice helicopter pilot can start flying the M2 V3 PRO.

    The ARF helicopter set includes: 100% assembled and ready-to-fly M2 V3 PRO model, Bluetooth® module, LiPo 11.1 V 750 mAh 60C drive battery, spare main shaft and main rotor shaft, spare servo levers and a small set of screws, a device for leveling the swashplate, a sturdy EPP foam box with a hinged lid for safe transportation and storage of the model, instructions for operating the model and setting up the control unit.
