The Blade Fusion 550 kit is based on the very popular Fusion 480 RC model and therefore this kit contains a number of proven, high-quality and powerful components that make up a durable and reliable helicopter. Lightweight yet extremely durable, the carbon fiber and aluminum construction includes a number of ready-made components, so the model is quick to assemble – in less than half the time of similar kits – and easy to maintain and repair. The optimized geometry of the servo drives provides precise and sensitive control - from hovering to sport flying and from basic to complete 3D acrobatics. The silent bevel gear main gear is powered by the included Spektrum Avian 4320-1180Kv AC motor, which has high torque and power, with a recommended 6S 4000-5000mAh LiPo battery. A belt-driven tail rotor made of carbon and aluminum construction ensures safe control in any flight position. Difficulty 3 rated kits like this are suitable for RC pilots who already have experience and skill in building, setting up and flying models of a similar class. And although this is one of the easiest helicopter kits to build, making it a perfect first kit model for a number of pilots, you should have the experience and skills to successfully set up and fly other helicopter models such as the Blade 330 and Fusion 360, before you decide to fly the Fusion 550.

Blade maintenance accessories
For the normal operation of flying RC helicopter models, you need a suitable set of tools and a LiPol battery storage case. From our assortment, we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will surely come in handy for assembly.
Quick fix adhesives
For quick repair of z helicopter models, we recommend fast curing second adhesives. From our offer, we recommend Robitronic instant glue medium 20ml or Roket Cyano Gel gel instant glue 20ml.
Preparations for securing screws
To secure the screws against loosening, we recommend Robitronic screw glue blue 10ml.
Gear lubrication preparations
For gentle gear lubrication, we recommend the Modelcraft precision oiler with Teflon oil 7.5ml.
Protection of electronics
NANOPROTECH ELECTRIC 75ml can be recommended for gentle gear lubrication.
Protective covers for accumulators
Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
