Characteristics
The RC model helicopter Blade 330 S is an acrobatic helicopter for moderately advanced and more demanding pilots. It pushes the boundaries of the school model and with the advanced Blade SAFE® Helicopter firmware and has great SAFE stability and super acrobatic performance. BNF version without transmitter, battery and charger.
The Blade 330 S has a proven modern rugged design that uses the all-new Spektrum FC6250HX control unit, Serial Telemetry Receiver (SPM4651T), Spektrum Avian 30A controller, powerful 4200Kv AC motor and Spektrum 30 H3055 and H3065 metal servos. The carbon main rotor blades give the model excellent handling and fast response. The blade offers a well-tuned helicopter with innovative SAFE® technology, which is immediately ready for flight.
The model is completely assembled and ready to fly. It is necessary to add a compatible Spektrum transmitter and a LiPol battery 2200mAh 3S 30C.
If you want to have the Panic function activated (comparison to horizontal flight), you must assign a free switch or button to channel 7. You must therefore use min. 7-channel transmitter.

SAFE technology
The innovative SAFE technology provides a high level of confidence in the protection of the flight envelope and, with the help of electronic stabilization, can facilitate the piloting of pilots who have not yet reached the level of acrobatic piloting. Stability and 3D flight modes are available to allow progressive learning from intermediate to advanced maneuvers.
Spectrum Smart technology
If you use a compatible Spektrum transmitter with Spektrum AirWare ™, Spektrum Smart telemetry data, such as engine speed, current and battery voltage, are available.
Progressive flight modes
- Stability mode - the angle of inclination is limited, after releasing the cyclic lever, the model is leveled
- Intermediate mode - the angle of inclination is not limited, basic acrobatics can be performed
- Agility mode - tilt angle is not limited, advanced acrobatics can be performed
Panic function
If you are in an emergency while flying in any mode, activate the Panic function and move the control levers to the neutral position (including the cycle lever). If the model is at a sufficient height, SAFE technology immediately returns the model to a horizontal position.
Digital servos
Cyclic servos are digital with metal gears Spektrum ™ H3055 with a speed of 0.053s / 60 ° at 6V and a torque of 2.5 kg.cm and a tail rotor servo Spektrum ™ H3065 with a speed of 0.029 s / 60 ° at 6V.
Main rotor mechanics
The consistent efficiency of the construction is obvious, solid steel shaft, aluminum elements for high rigidity and the use of strength plastics for the lowest possible weight, precise control and solid blade holders, all elements in ball bearings, precision processing. Easy replacement in case of damage.
Carbon blades of the main rotor 325mm
Precise and rigid main rotor blades are very important for favorable flight characteristics, Blade CF FBL blades (BLH4315) are installed
Composite skeleton model
The Blade 330S frame consists of a composite 2-piece molding on which all electronics and drive components are installed. The tail tube is made of aluminum with a black finish, the drive to the balancing rotor is a strap. The model has a freewheel rotor for the possibility of autorotation.
AC motor
The Blade 330S is powered by a powerful high-speed 440X Brushless Outrunner, 4200Kv (EFLM1360HA). The pinion has helical gearing, the motor is mounted between the sides on an aluminum motor bed.
Control unit
The Spektrum FC6250HX control unit is mounted on the damping moss pad, which contains the necessary control software for SAFE and AS3X technology.
We recommend buying
For commissioning you need a 6+ channel DSMX / DSM2 aircraft transmitter Spectrum and spare LiPol battery Spectrum Smart LiPo 11.1V 2200mAh 50C IC3 or Spectrum Smart LiPo 11.1V 2200mAh 100C IC3 and a more powerful charger Spectrum Smart charger S2100 2x100W AC or Spectrum Smart charger S1200 DC.
USB source
We recommend a powerful USB power supply to power the USB charger. With this source, you achieve significantly shorter charging times, compared to conventional USB sources (such as phone chargers).
Recommended chargers for conventional LiPol and Smart batteries
If you decide to use modern Smart LiPo batteries in RC models of planes or helicopters, or to charge your batteries from other manufacturers, then we recommend the following chargers:
- Charger with mains power supply Spektrum S150 with one 50W output.
- Charger with mains power supply Spektrum S1100AC with one output 1x100W .
- Charger with mains power supply Spektrum S2100 with two outputs 2x 100W .
Recommended modern powerful chargers for Smart batteries
- High-performance AC charger Spektrum Smart G2 charger S1400 1x400W AC with one output 400W .
- High performance AC charger Spektrum Smart G2 charger S2200 2x200W AC with two outputs 2x200W .
There is a reduction for charging IC5 / IC3 Spectrum conversion cable IC5 device - IC3 battery 10cm 10 AWG.
Recommended chargers for conventional LiPo batteries
If you decide to run the model on conventional LiPo batteries , we recommend using universal chargers with a power of at least 50 W.
Dynamite Prophet Sport charger with two 50 W outputs
Blade helicopter maintenance accessories
For normal operation of flying RC helicopter models, you need a suitable set of tools and packaging for storing LiPol batteries. From our range we recommend a quality set of Allen screwdrivers 1.5 / 2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0mm and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will certainly be suitable for assembly.
Adhesives for quick repair
For quick repair of helicopter models, we recommend a fast-curing instant adhesive. From our offer we recommend Robitronic instant glue medium 20ml or Roket Cyano Gel gel instant glue 20ml.
Tools for securing screws
To secure the screws against loosening, Robitronic screw glue blue 10ml can be recommended.
Gear lubricants
Modelcraft precision oiler with Teflon oil 7.5ml can be recommended for fine lubrication of gears.
Electronics protection
NANOPROTECH ELECTRIC 75ml can be recommended for fine lubrication of gears.
Protective covers for batteries
Protective covers are designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is prone to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
