This engine inherits the smooth and easy-to-drive feel of its predecessor, the OSSPEED R21 EURO Spec., and a revision of the crankshaft counterweight improves the low- and mid-range power delivery. The smooth drop in revs has also improved, idling stability and optimal performance is evident even on a long and rough racing scene. Compared to the previous model, all components have been improved, including the cooling head with a new design that improves cooling performance.

The cooling head adopts the same design as the R2104 and R2105 models, which has high cooling performance and light weight with original laser marking.
Uses the internal O-ring insert head used in the R2104. O-ring uses oil resistant (black).
The 7-channel liner and piston have a new design with cooling holes added to the bottom of the exhaust with a newly designed crankcase.
The crankshaft is specific to this engine and uses 3 tungsten counterweights. This has improved the torque feel at medium and low revs including idle.
It comes with a 21M2 (B) carburettor which is popular with many racers for maximum performance. ?8.5 reduction is also part of the standard equipment.
There is also a combo kit that comes with the elbow and exhaust/muffler kit. This is a combination
R01 (EFRA2098) + MR02 is especially suitable for circuits in Europe with a longer straight.
