The KZ ZAT features brand new, custom designed balanced armature converters that far exceed the performance of conventional balanced armature converters. A second optimization of the 29689 further reduces distortion with a peak shift of 3kHz to the right, resulting in a new level of mid-to-high frequency performance. The third optimization and upgrade of the 30095 ultra-high-frequency balanced armature greatly increases the sensitivity of the response in the ultra-high frequency range and brings even richer sound details. The powerful super high-frequency field module can provide robust sound resolution that provides a much wider soundstage than ordinary multi-driver headphones.
A truly super linear dynamic controller
With the support of a four-layer coil, the performance of a single inverter exceeds the performance of other common sets of stacked two inverters. The power drop between 20Hz and 100Hz is less than 3dB, ensuring excellent low frequency depth. The roll-off between 20Hz and 200Hz is close to 8dB, making the low-frequency response clear, flexible and incredibly impressive.

Traditional tuning techniques can only control the overall frequency range, often resulting in an imbalance between bass, midrange and treble frequencies. KZ's new patented electronic tuning technology breaks with tradition by enabling precise control of the entire frequency spectrum. Through this precise electronic tuning technology, we have minimized the drop in sensitivity between 20-100Hz to around 3dB. This ensures deep and well-controlled sub-bass frequencies. At the same time, we've maintained a sensitivity drop of about 7dB between 20-200Hz, giving the low frequencies just the right amount of punch. The result is exceptional sound quality that provides excellent sound reproduction.
Built-in professional electronic filter supports customized sound tuning
To meet the diverse listening preferences of KZ ZAT users, it internally includes professional tuners that support custom adjustments across the entire frequency spectrum, including low, mid, and high frequencies.
The difference between a traditional damping network and an electronic tuning filter
Traditional damping meshes modify the sound by changing the density of the damping mesh inside the diameter of the enclosure. You have to swap different damping nets to achieve different sounds, which cannot provide precise tuning control.
