Traditional headphones often show a 6-7dB drop in the 40-300Hz frequency range, and some headphones marketed as Hi-Fi can have even a 4-5dB drop. (Why do so-called Hi-Fi headphone products have less low frequency drop? This is done to create a false perception for users. By reducing the low frequencies, they try to make the mid and high frequencies sound better, claiming it is due to low distortion. In fact, it's all a hoax, because they can't technically improve just the 100 Hz frequency range without affecting the other ranges.) This slight drop in low frequencies is like reducing the explosion of a nuclear bomb to the sound of a firecracker.

In contrast, the KZ Castor can boast a drop of over 10dB in the 40Hz-300Hz range. Using the acoustic theory that 6dB is doubling, KZ Castor's performance in the low frequency range definitely outperformed traditional earphones in data.

When we set the bass frequency range to 20-200Hz, traditional manufacturers often try to adjust the sensitivity of this range by changing the damping of the unit. The primary limitation is that it is almost impossible to increase only the 20-200 Hz range without affecting the 300 Hz range; excessive gain in the 300 Hz range results in muddy sound. However, with the dual driver design of our KZ Castor, one driver is dedicated to independently control the 20-200Hz frequency range and fully amplify the output in that range. This approach allows us to achieve a unique and stunning bass experience.

Built-in professional quality filters support adjustable low and high frequencies
KZ Castor has professional acoustic filters that support 2-stage adjustments for low frequencies and 2-stage adjustments for high frequencies. Users can fine-tune their sound preferences and create 16 different sound profiles based on their preferred music styles.

The precision of the integrated injection process is theoretically more than 10 times higher than traditional 3D printing technology. The tolerance range of traditional 3D printing is around 0.1mm, while the accuracy of KZ Castor's internal support structure is around 0.01mm.

Thermoplastic memory foam earcups with slow rebound
KZ Castor uses premium memory foam ear tips with an optimized physical structure that significantly reduces noise when clenching your teeth. The slow-rebound memory foam material increases wearing comfort and provides excellent noise reduction and sound insulation.
