Extremely high-quality, clear, quick-drying, waterproof, transparent adhesive for bonding plastic models, plastics and combination bonding. UHU plastic spezial achieves high strength by dissolving plastic surfaces (cold welding). It is also suitable for bonding narrow slots with a special needle applicator.
SCOPE OF USE:
It is suitable for bonding hardened polystyrene (PS), ABS, SAN, plexiglass (PMMA), hard PVC, celluloid, polycarbonate (PC) and is also suitable for combination bonding with other materials such as wood, cardboard and paper. Not suitable for bonding PP, PE, Teflon and expanded polystyrene.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Glued surfaces must be flat, dry and free of grease.
1. Apply the adhesive on one side.
2. Immediately press together and fix it firmly. For thin materials, apply a thin layer of adhesive to prevent deformation and shape changes.
3. The bonded joint reaches the handling strength after 5 minutes and the functional strength after 24 hours.
