BISON PU MAX 75g
Bison PU MAX is a high strength liquid polyurethane adhesive for highly stressed joints. It is designed for exterior and interior gluing. The adhesive is resistant to water according to ČSN EN 204 D4, weather conditions and temperatures from -20 ° C to + 125 ° C.
Yield 5 m2 / kg. Solvent-free. Slightly foaming (approx. 10%) and recoatable after curing. Bonding condition: one of the bonded materials must be absorbent (porous).
SCOPE OF USE:
It is designed for strength bonding of hard and soft wood (including exotic), chipboard, MDF and OSB boards, PVC, ABS, metals, gypsum, hard foam, expanded polystyrene, insulation materials, cork etc. wood, plaster, cork, bricks, etc. It is ideal for structural bonding of eg garden furniture, pergolas, staircases, wooden tiles, modeling and where the construction is stressed by high humidity and water.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Glued surfaces must be dry and dusty. Apply the adhesive on one side with a spatula or brush. The layer should not be higher than 1 mm. Adhesive workability 30 minutes. Connect the parts and press them firmly for at least 4 hours
clamp the clamps (recommended pressure is 2 - 5 kg / cm2). The functional strength reaches the joint after 24 hours. Uncured adhesive can be removed with acetone, cured only mechanically.
TIP:
After 2-3 hours, remove the excess, not yet fully cured foam that expands from the joint with a sharp cutter. Once fully cured, removal is very difficult.
IMPORTANT:
Do not use at temperatures below + 5 ° C. Recommended wood humidity 10% to 18% (max. 25%). Close the container properly after use and store in a dry, frost-free, cool place at a temperature between + 10 ° C and + 20 ° C. Minimum shelf life is 18 months. It may shorten after opening.
