PLATINUM 5230 series motors are high-performance brushless 28-pole outrunner electric motors with excellent electrical properties, sophisticated design and top-notch manufacturing. Hardened steel shafts and high-quality bearings ensure long service life, while the high-quality materials used for the stator and rotor also guarantee excellent performance parameters and high efficiency. They are low-speed motors with high torque, capable of handling large diameter propellers and pitch without the need for a gearbox.

PLATINUM 5230SL-380KV
PLATINUM 5230SL-380KV is a brushless motor designed to power models with a flight weight of up to 8000 g, powered by a six-cell or eight-cell LiPo battery.

Motor mounting: PLATINUM 5230SL-380KV is designed for both front and rear mounting. For front mounting behind the motor face, use four M4 screws that extend into the motor face by a maximum of 5 mm. The two quadruple holes for mounting screws in the motor face are spaced at regular 90° intervals on a circle with a diameter of 30 or 44 mm. The motor bulkhead should be made of 8-10 mm aircraft plywood. A rear mounting kit (mounting cross, propeller carrier for rear mounting) is supplied with the motor.

Controller: When choosing a controller, make sure it is a type designed to work with multi-pole motors (regular controllers designed for 2-14 pole motors may not work properly).
