If you are used to high performance and top quality and reliability of OS internal combustion engines, you will surely be pleased that you can now enjoy the same advantages of AC electric motors! They have been developed and designed to set the "gold standard" for electric propulsion, just as they do for their methyl or gasoline counterparts. 80 years of experience of OS developers is a guarantee that even new electric motors offer the same legendary quality and reliability.
OS AC motors feature an integrated ventilation system that increases their efficiency and allows them to operate at higher current loads and thus deliver higher power. A key feature of this system is the unique centrifugal fan, which sucks in air through specially shaped vents, through the windings and around the magnets for significantly better cooling.
OS AC motors have a robust design that reduces the risk of deformation, solid stainless steel shafts mounted in high-quality bearings, a rigid and safe rear mounting system with a precise propeller carrier.
Thanks to their high torque, the OS motors are suitable for direct drive of large propellers without the need to use a gearbox, which ensures very good efficiency of the entire drive.
