    Tech3 is a motorcycle racing team competing in the MotoGP World Championship under the name Tech3 GasGas Factory Racing. It also competes in the Moto3 World Championship under the name Red Bull KTM Tech3 and the MotoE World Cup under the name Tech3 E-Racing.



    The Pro MotoGP 2021 colors for the KTM team are dominated by orange with a few touches of black in several parts. The KTM Factory Racing Tech3 Team did not have a main sponsor. The competitor's team consisted of Danilo Petrucci with partner Ikera Lecuona.



    The KTM RC16 is a prototype Grand Prix racing motorcycle developed by KTM to compete in the MotoGP series since the 2017 season. The modernized RC16 features a hybrid chassis design (combining elements of a double beam and trellis frame design) made of steel and a carbon fiber swingarm. The engine is a 265 hp (198 kW) four-stroke V4.



    In 2021, Lecuona signed a contract with Tech3 that will expire at the end of the season. As his teammate Miguel Oliveira was signed to the KTM Factory Racing Team, former Ducati factory rider Danilo Petrucci signed a one-year contract. However, both Tech3 teammates were left without a ride for the 2022 season after Red Bull KTM teammates Remy Gardner and Raúl Fernández put in dominant performances in the Moto2 World Championship and subsequently both signed with Tech3 for the 2022 season.
