The Bigfoot 1:10 BL-2s 4WD Classic RC car model is based on real Monster Trucks. With a longer wheelbase for stability and a medium ground clearance of 62 mm, it overcomes obstacles like no other car. The BL-2S brushless motor with controller provides enough power. The brushless drive system brings more brutal acceleration, long life and increases the model's speed to 56 km/h. In addition, the model is factory-equipped with an Extreme Heavy Duty kit for high durability. Wheelie wheels allow driving on the rear wheels. All this is packed into a practical body with clipless mounting.
Two of the biggest names in RC monster trucks have joined forces to create the BIGFOOT 4x4, which is based on the latest Stampede chassis. The chassis retains the best of both worlds, including modular construction, cutting-edge suspension geometry, friction clutch drivetrain, axle differentials, and adds factory-installed Wheelie wheels. The wheelbase has been extended to 295 mm for added stability, and the battery compartment now accepts flat-pack 7-cell NiMH batteries, just like other Traxxas models. With 4WD and AC drive, you'll experience hours of perfect handling and lightning-fast acceleration.
The controller with three driving modes guarantees fun for adults and children thanks to the possibility of limiting the power to 50%. Despite the increased speed and acceleration, compared to DC drive, affordable operation on 2S LiPo batteries is maintained. Control is provided by a TQ 2.4 GHz transmitter with precise steering mechanics. Of course, a wide range of tuning parts is available, including complete spare parts.
The factory-installed Extreme Heavy Duty suspension and drivetrain components are made from the most durable materials Traxxas uses.
The BL-2s AC drive with a 3300rpm/V motor increases speed and acceleration by up to 60% compared to other DC motor drives. Improved efficiency, high-speed ball bearings and an internal cooling fan provide a long motor life with minimal maintenance.
The unique body mounting system using hooks in the wheel arches allows for quick and easy battery replacement, and the clean appearance of the model is not disturbed by the clips.
The modular chassis of the Bigfoot 4x4 can be easily disassembled into parts using just a screwdriver. Within a minute you have access to all important components, model settings and service maintenance. The solid front bumper protects the model from impacts, while it is designed to maintain high approach angles.
The chassis features a longer wheelbase of 295 mm for greater stability. Short front and rear overhangs allow the model to climb up almost vertical obstacles or use them as a jump.
The battery is placed deep in the chassis for a low center of gravity and maximum protection. A latch system ensures easy and quick installation and removal of the battery. The chassis extension has allowed the battery bed to be redesigned, which now also accommodates long 157 mm batteries.
Ultra Shock long-stroke oil-filled shock absorbers are designed to absorb every impact. Double X-ring seals ensure smooth operation without oil leakage. The characteristics of the shock absorbers can be changed by pre-tensioning the springs, or by replacing the springs with others, and the behavior of the shock absorbers can also be adjusted by changing the viscosity of the oil used.
The long travel of the arms absorbs even sharp impacts and improves the handling of the model. It will have precise and fast steering response in every situation. Adjustable oil shock absorbers are used on the chassis for endless fun.
In addition to the Extreme Heavy Duty kit, the model is also equipped with stronger suspension arms that are even more resistant to any impact.
The model uses a number of patented solutions that reduce the risk of water ingress to the electronics, such as sealing the receiver box, servos, or epoxy-encased controller electronics. This gives you the confidence to go for a ride regardless of the weather.
The front wheel steering mechanism is implemented by means of a Dula-Bell-Crank system, which ensures precise operation of the linkages to the wheels. The steering has an integrated servo-saver that absorbs shocks and protects the servo against overload.
The body is held firmly in place by the beak holder. Even if the model is in somersaults, the body will not come loose from the model.
Thanks to the rear bar with Wheelie wheels, you can enjoy driving on the rear wheels. The bar also serves as a handle for carrying the model.
The friction clutch uses a special semi-metallic friction material and aluminum alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and provide consistent traction control. The clutch slip intensity can be adjusted without disassembling the model.
The 32DP gear module is commonly used on larger models, providing individual teeth large enough and durable for the engine's performance and for the eventual upgrade to the even more powerful VLX-3S drive.
The model is equipped with high-quality metal-geared differentials that are fully prepared for the power of AC drive and even for the upgrade to VLX-3S. Precision X-ring seals allow the differentials to be tuned for specific operating conditions by changing the oil viscosity.
Maxx Duty drive shafts feature reinforced universal joints and large axles that slide into the drive shafts. The shafts are designed to handle the power of the AC drive without any problems.
Large ball bearings are used throughout the drive system for smooth operation. The bearings are equipped with a plastic cover to minimize dirt entry. This solution extends the life of the model and simplifies maintenance.
Terra Groove tires mimic the look of full-size treads. The unique rubber compound provides high traction on a wide range of surfaces including dirt, grass, concrete and rocks.
The Traxxas 2075 high-torque waterproof digital servo with a DC motor and nylon gears has a torque of 9.0 kg.cm and a speed of 0.17 s/60°@ 6.0 V. For water resistance*, the servo housing and output gear are sealed. Two ball bearings provide very smooth operation.
The Traxxas 3300kv brushless motor provides the ideal affordable drive especially for 1:10 models with all the benefits of high performance, long life and minimal maintenance. The motor is equipped with a Quick Connect connector for easy connection. Other features include:
Waterproof* electronic BL-2S brushless controller with three driving modes, support for 2S LiPo batteries and easy control with the EZ-Set™ button. The controller is equipped with a training mode that limits full throttle to 50%. The model is controlled by a Traxxas TQ two-channel proportional steering wheel RC transmitter, operating in the 2.4 GHz band - interference-free operation. The transmitter is powered by only 4 AA batteries.
There is a rotary knob on the transmitter that trims the steering (so that the model drives straight when the steering wheel is in the center position). The battery status in the transmitter is indicated by an LED. The transmitter can be set to reverse on the throttle and steering channels.

To operate the model, you need 4x AA batteries for the transmitter, a drive battery and a charger for the drive battery.
With modern LiPo batteries, the model will have maximum acceleration. The model can be operated on a 2-cell (7.4 V) LiPo battery.
NiMH batteries do not require precise handling and are therefore suitable if the RC model car is operated by children (a NiMH battery will not be destroyed by a complete discharge). However, NiMH batteries do not provide such power.
Traxxas universal chargers can charge Traxxas LiPo and NiMH batteries. Traxxas chargers are a simple and safe way to charge batteries. Traxxas uses the unique iD system , so you can always be sure that everything is connected easily and safely. There is an integrated chip in the battery connector that the Traxxas charger automatically recognizes and sets all battery charging parameters for you. More information here.

For normal operation of your Traxxas RC car, you need screw glue, quality tire glue, silicone shock absorber oil and a set of screwdrivers. We recommend an affordable car tool set from our range.
Screw glue is applied to the thread or head of the screw, which fixes it and prevents the vibrations caused by driving from loosening the screw connection. Screw glue has a special composition that allows the screw connection to be easily loosened with an appropriate torque without damaging the screw head. Never use ordinary superglue, a screw glued in this way may be impossible to loosen at all!
Tire glue is used to glue tires to the rim of the wheel. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued to the wheel rim around the entire circumference! If the tire is not glued around the entire circumference, it may burst. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon and at the same time the glue is flexible after hardening. Never use ordinary superglue - it is not flexible after hardening and cracks would gradually form in the tire around the rims!
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the model's shock absorbers. During normal operation, only slight silicone oil leaks occur along the shock absorber piston rods. If the surface of the shock absorber piston rods or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leak can be large. So-called repair kits are available for these cases. The tuning parts offer includes piston rods with an extremely hard TiN (titanium nitride) coating for all shock absorbers. Piston rods with a TiN coating can be easily recognized by their golden-green color.
