The Lancia Delta is one of the most famous models of the Italian car manufacturer Lancia. Between 1987 and 1992, this car won six times in a row the title of world champion in car competitions — rally. Lancia Delta cars with integral all-wheel drive have rightly written down a golden letter in the history of world automotive development and sport and are widely sought after by collectors from all over the world. The Delta S4 competed in the 1985 and 1986 World Rally Championship, until Group B was disbanded and the cars were eventually banned entirely by the European sanctioning body the FIA. The S4 took full advantage of Group B regulations and featured a mid-engine and all-wheel drive for better traction on unpaved surfaces. The 1,759cc inline-four car combined a supercharger and turbocharger to reduce boost lag at low engine speeds. The engine generated a maximum power of 490 PS (360 kW; 483 hp), but some sources even claim that the engine was capable of generating 507 PS (373 kW; 500 hp).

As expected of a proper rally car, the chassis features 4-wheel drive, powered by a 540 23T DC motor, making it a joy to drive. The equipment also includes planetary differentials, 17 ball bearings, aluminum reinforcement of the chassis or perhaps metal half-axles.
