CAMcarbon Z folding propeller
CAMcarbon folding propellers have been the standard in electric flying for many years. This is reason enough for further development of this series. The new Z propellers have been specially optimized for an even tighter fit to the narrow hulls of gliders and gliders. Even with box-shaped wooden hulls, the new shape of the CAMcarbon Z propeller brings a significantly tighter adhesion of the blades to the hull.
The blades fit all existing folding propeller systems that are designed for 8mm blade roots. The propellers can thus be easily operated on our entire range of CNC cones.
However, you will achieve an optimal result in combination with Z-cones (CN). Depending on the fuselage, it is thus possible to fold without a gap, which improves aerodynamic properties and appearance.
The leaf design has been optimized in the root area. The material used is plastic reinforced with carbon fibers.
The folding propeller size given refers to the use of a 42mm diameter center follower/cone. Using smaller or larger center pieces will change the diameter and pitch accordingly.
Warning: The operation of tilting propellers is only allowed up to the specified maximum revolutions and in connection with the gradual start-up of the engine. You can find the respective permissible maximum speed on the packaging of the folding propeller.
