CAMcarbon Z folding propeller

CAMcarbon folding propellers have been the standard in electric flying for many years. That is reason enough to continue developing this series. The new Z propellers have been specially optimized for even tighter folding to the narrow fuselages of gliders and gliders. Even with box-shaped wooden fuselages, the new shape of the CAMcarbon Z propeller brings a significantly tighter fit of the blades to the fuselage.

The blades are suitable for all existing folding propeller systems that are designed for 8mm blade roots. The propellers can therefore be easily operated on our entire range of CNC cones.

However, you will achieve optimal results in combination with Z-cones (CN). Depending on the fuselage, this allows for gap-free folding, which improves aerodynamic properties and appearance.

The blade design has been optimized in the root area. The material used is carbon fiber reinforced plastic.

The stated size of the folding propeller refers to the use of a center carrier/cone with a diameter of 42 mm. When using smaller or larger center parts, the diameter and pitch change accordingly.

Note: Operation of folding propellers is only permitted up to the stated maximum speeds and in conjunction with a gradual engine start-up. The respective permissible maximum speeds can be found on the packaging of the folding propeller.
