    Spektrum Smart technology

    Smart Spektrum batteries respond to recent modern trends. Smart accumulators containing electronics that ensure safe and especially easy use. The integrated electronics in the accumulator constantly evaluates the voltage of individual accumulator cells and the temperature of the entire accumulator, optimizes the charging of individual cells to achieve the shortest possible charging time.




    • Thanks to the possibility of automatic discharge to the storage voltage , the lifetime of the accumulator is significantly extended .
    • Optimum equalization of the cells means up to 25% shorter charging time .
    • It records the number of charge and discharge cycles. You thus have an overview of how many cycles each accumulator has completed.
    • Records dangerous conditions – too high and low cell voltage, high temperature.
    • When using Smart chargers, the optimal charging process is automatically set. In addition, it is not absolutely necessary to connect the service connector to the charger.
    • Full compatibility with conventional chargers is ensured. You can charge the smart battery with your charger without any worries.

    Using the Spektrum XBC100 tester, you can easily find out all the necessary parameters of the battery, and you can also activate the automatic discharge of the battery.

    Simple and safe charging of the Smart battery

    If you connect the Smart Life battery to the Smart charger, the charger will read all the necessary parameters (battery type, number of cells, capacity, charging current) directly from the battery. Charging has never been easier!

    New connectors IC3 and IC5

    The new IC3 and IC5 connectors have a modern design with an emphasis on safety and simplicity . The contacts are made of gold-plated pins and sockets (in the case of the IC3 connector with a diameter of 3.5 mm, in the case of the IC5 connector with a diameter of 5 mm). The connector is also equipped with a data wire for communication with the charger. When using Smart chargers, there is no need to connect the balance connector. Connectors IC3 or IC5 is backward compatible with connector EC3, or EC5.



    As already mentioned, the connectors have been designed with an emphasis on safety and ease of use. The connectors cannot be reversed, the contacts and soldered connections are covered with a plastic cover.



    For the possibility of charging accumulators with conventional chargers, a standard JST-XH service (balance) connector is taken out of the accumulator.

    Automatic introduction of the accumulator into storage mode

    Long-term storage of the battery in a fully charged state degrades its properties - this is manifested by softening / swelling of the cells. That is why Spektrum Smart accumulators contain a circuit that after a set time begins to slowly discharge the accumulator to the so-called storage voltage. The time can be adjusted using chargers in the range of 12 to 240 hours.



    This unique feature significantly extends battery life and ensures better performance over the life of the set.
