KAVAN PRO activator CA spray 150ml DE

Activator/accelerator for instant (cyanoacrylate) adhesives in an aerosol can with a new, safer formula in accordance with the latest EU directives. It is used to accelerate the curing of instant adhesives in conditions unfavorable for their natural curing (by reaction with air humidity or water contained in the glued parts) in a dry environment, in the cold, when gluing inactive materials or when applying a thick layer of adhesive. The product contains its own component activating the polymerization of the instant adhesive, solvents (acetone) and propellant gas (propane/butane). For this reason, it must not be used when bonding materials that are not resistant to organic solvents (e.g. polystyrene foam).

Usage: The activator is applied from a distance of 20–25 cm to clean and dry surfaces, the optimal working temperature range is +10 °C to +30 °C. You can apply it in one of two basic ways:

• Small parts: Apply the activator to one bonded surface and let it dry (it remains active for several hours). Then apply superglue to the other contact surface and place the parts together.
• Large parts: Apply superglue to one contact surface, press the parts together and spray the joint with activator.

Suitable for: superglues when bonding materials resistant to organic solvents.

Not suitable for: expanded polystyrene and other materials that are not resistant to organic solvents or elevated temperatures (accelerated polymerization of the adhesive can release a significant amount of heat leading to heating of the bonded joint and its surroundings - the greater the more adhesive was used).

Storage: in a tightly closed container, in a cool, dry and dark place (at a temperature of +5 °C to +25 °C). Do not expose to temperatures below +2 °C

Shelf life: If proper storage conditions are observed, we guarantee a shelf life of 1 year in the unopened original packaging while maintaining the above-mentioned product properties.
