Spektrum DX Rugged+ 12-channel steering wheel transmitter orange with dual DSMR+ and SLT protocols, which allows you to control a wide range of RC models with many functions. The transmitter contains Spektrum Smart technology and when using other Spektrum components you will have a perfect overview of the model, including telemetry data and the ability to directly set the Firma Prog controller. The transmitter has a simple and logically arranged menu, memory for 20 models, a large clear display and low weight. New features of the DSMR+ version include support for many different mixes, logic switches, emergency brakes, as well as the ability to change inputs and perform other advanced programming.
The Rugged transmitter has an increased resistance to mechanical damage due to its design and has significantly increased resistance to moisture. You will appreciate this not only when you drive RC models in demanding conditions, but also during normal use. The Rugged transmitter includes molded bumpers made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) surrounding the housing and protecting it from falls, as well as a touch control interface, a safety strut and a robust construction. To navigate the transmitter menu, an innovative touch control panel is used, which offers greater resistance to moisture and dirt. Simply slide your finger on the control panel and tap to select from the menu. Like its predecessor, the transmitter is characterized by excellent ergonomics.
The Spektrum DX Rugged+ transmitter is the perfect smart solution for RC cars, boats and scale models, offering an extensive list of options. 12 proportional channels allow you to control advanced model functions such as lighting, transmission, differential locks, independent brake control, rear wheel steering or separate front wheel steering. The advantage is intuitive software and programming. The included USB slot allows for easy firmware updates. Thanks to the frequency-agile DSMR+ 2.4GHz technology and now also SLT, you can use the transmitter in various types of models, including boats. Its range and response, especially in a busy 2.4GHz environment, are excellent.

Thanks to SMART technology, the Spektrum DX Rugged+ transmitter will offer data on drive battery voltage, current, controller temperature and energy consumed. The dual protocol allows you to pair the transmitter with both DSMR receivers and other models with the SLT protocol, which is used in some Horizon Hobby car models (Arrma, Losi, Axial). This way you can have one remote control for all models.
The proven DSMR 2.4GHz transmission protocol provides lightning-fast, drop-free control even in challenging signal conditions. New features of the “plus” version include the ability to perform many different mixes, change inputs, and perform other advanced programming. New features include Throttle Mixes, support for absolute servo travel, emergency brake function, and support for logic, combination, and analog switches. In addition, the transmitter supports DRIVE and MS6X technologies, which are used in special Losi models.
When used with Spektrum receivers, Firma Smart ESCs, and Spektrum Smart batteries, the transmitter receives telemetry data directly to your transmitter via the Smart Throttle port on the receiver. The ESC can send telemetry data - RPM, speed, ESC temperature, voltage, and current - via the Smart Throttle port. Thanks to Smart technology, you can also adjust the settings of the Spektrum Firma ESC using the transmitter.
The DX Rugged+ allows for customization of the AVC system by providing easy access to dedicated adjustments. To increase the rigidity of the transmitter housing, a reinforcement has been inserted in the front of the transmitter between the base and the upper body. This prevents the handle from breaking or cracking and also allows users to use it creatively, for example to attach additional elements such as a flashlight or camera.
A completely new feature of Spektrum is the ability to control the transmitter with just one hand. For example, if you need to take a picture of a car while driving and you don't have a colleague with a camera nearby, you can use a special steering lever to control the steering, which you will control with your thumb and the throttle with your index finger. This frees up your other hand to take the necessary picture.
Programming the DX Rugged+ is simple. The intuitive interface makes it easy to navigate the menu and quickly change settings. You won't need a manual for most programming functions, the transmitter's menu is laid out logically and clearly. In addition, the integrated USB-C port ensures trouble-free firmware updates.
You need to purchase 4x AA batteries for the transmitter, you can also use rechargeable AA NiMH batteries.
