The Spektrum Smart Drag Pro LiPol Pro No Prep Series battery is designed to provide consistently higher voltage throughout battery life, even under extreme current loads. Pro series batteries allow you to squeeze more capacity into LiPol cells, with higher performance compared to similarly sized batteries. The Pro No Prep series features a thinner and lighter hard case shell while remaining strong and impact resistant. This range works alongside the current Smart G1 and G2 batteries and is an upgrade to standard hard case car batteries.
The advantages of the Smart Pro-Series battery include longer battery life, better performance throughout the life of the battery, and in addition, the Smart battery is maintenance-free. When a Smart Pro-Series battery is connected to a Spektrum Smart charger, its unique charging parameters and operating information are uploaded to the charger from an integrated memory microchip. Through the charger you can view and set preferences such as charging current, so all you need to charge is to connect to your SMART charger. Smart technology takes care of the rest.

Smart G1 battery technology
Preset charging, discharging and storage parameters are automatically transferred from the Spektrum™ Smart G2 battery to your Smart Charger, making charging as easy as connecting to the battery. The charging speed of each set can also be customized by the user, allowing you to take full advantage of faster charging sets. The battery's integrated microchip remembers the last charge rate you set, so the next time you plug in, these settings are automatically loaded.
Automatic Smart Storage setup
Spektrum™ Smart G2 batteries practically take care of themselves, they are programmed from the factory to automatically adjust the cell voltage to a safe storage voltage of 3.9V after 72 hours of inactivity. The result is longer battery life, better performance over the life of the battery. The user can change the settings using the charger and turn off automatic storage.
Pro-Series LiPol battery
The new Pro Series LiPol batteries contain an innovative graphene polymer that provides a consistently higher average discharge voltage throughout the discharge period. Superior low internal resistance provides higher current (motor and controller have optimal performance). This means that the batteries have less voltage drop and a longer overall life.
Connection and charging with IC connector only
When connected to a Spektrum™ Smart charger, the Smart G2's unique battery parameters, health and cell information are automatically uploaded from its memory microchip via the IC3® or IC5® connector data wire. To charge the battery, simply connect it to the Smart charger. Safe charging starts automatically and no separate balance cable is needed.
