MT5, 2.4GHz including telemetry with RX-493i receiver (successor to MT-44)

The Sanwa MT-5 is here, the successor to the legendary MT-44.

This new SANWA MT-5 kit belongs to the middle class and is ideal for racers and advanced pilots who are looking for a remote control with many great features that are needed when setting up RC cars (and not just races) and have not yet matured to purchase the SANWA flagship M17 .

The MT-5 is a redesigned model of the popular MT-44 with a large white backlit display and high resolution. The folding top handle can be extended for easier carrying. (there is an integrated antenna in the handle)

The transmitter's telemetry features offer a wide range of familiar features with a new way to display signal strength.
One of the exceptional features of the MT-5 transmitter is the indicator function , which measures the signal reception status using the RX-493i receiver. This function can be used, for example, for the correct placement of the receiver in the model.
Of course, there is support for microSD cards to expand the memory.
The MT-5 continues to use low voltage technology, where three batteries or "AAA" rechargeable cells are sufficient as the power source. It is also possible to power the set with a 1S LiPo set. Depending on the capacity, this will extend the operation by many hours and further reduce the weight of the transmitter compared to conventional flashlights.
This reduction in the total weight of the transmitter will be appreciated by pilots: for example: in endurance races, long final rides for 45 or 60 minutes or rides with an expedition car in nature.
The MT-5 supports Sanwa SHR and SSR modulation and is only compatible with FH5 receivers.
