The Mercedes W13 is a Formula One racing car designed and built by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team to compete in the 2022 Formula One World Championship. The car was driven by Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, the latter racing in his first season with the team. The team's reserve driver was Nyck de Vries, who usually drove in Formula E for the Mercedes-EQ Formula E team.

The chassis was the first Mercedes car built for the new technical regulations for 2022. The W13 returned to the traditional silver liveries after the W11 and W12 were painted black in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, although the drivers continued to race in black overalls.

The W13 proved uncompetitive at the start of the season until Mercedes brought in significant updates. Hamilton and Russell were able to finish on the podium. Russell finished in the top 5 until Silverstone, where he retired at the 1st round. Russell was able to take his first win at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, which was the team's first since the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. During the first half of the season, Hamilton was marginally short on points compared to Russell, despite being involved in the development of the W13, he had to wait until the Grand Prix Britain to try an experimental car setup. When his contributions to the car's development were closed, he was able to perform better. Hamilton scored more podiums and championship points than Russell during the second half of the season. By the end of the season, Hamilton had achieved nine podium finishes, but for the first time in his Formula 1 career, he failed to win a race or pole position in the season. He finished sixth in the Drivers' Championship, 35 points behind Russell, who finished fourth. However, Hamilton was able to qualify in higher positions on the grid and took more podium finishes than Russell.

It is the first time since 2012 that the team has won just one race and qualified on pole once. The W13 is considered one of the worst cars ever developed by Mercedes-AMG, still rivaling the racing record of pre-turbo hybrid Mercedes cars.
