The OMP HOBBY M7 is a high performance "700" class helicopter designed to meet the requirements of large helicopter beginners, sport pilots, modelers and 3D fighters when the appropriate motor and electronics are installed. The M7's design has focused on minimizing moments of inertia in all three axes, which, together with the large-deflection control system of the main and balance rotor, offers incredible steering authority and agility.
The M7 allows for a wide range of motors and electronics to be installed, so straight out of the box or with the use of tuning parts, the M7 easily meets the demands of seasoned 3D pilots and allows them to use their most popular and well-tested equipment.
Recommended rotor blades: carbon 700 mm.
Recommended balance rotor blades: carbon 106mm.
Recommended RC kit: computer min. 6 channels with heli program.
Recommended cycle servos: Standard size - e.g. MKS HBL850, HBL960, HBL950, KAVAN GO-1180MG.
Recommended yaw/tail rotor servo: Standard size - eg MKS HBL880, HBL990, HBL980, KAVAN GO-11T80MG.
Flybarless control unit: e.g. Futaba CGY760R, CGY755, Bavarian Demon BD 3X, BD AXON, etc.
Suitable motor: 4525-4530 series rotating shell AC motor (stator diameter 45mm) with 500-550KV for 12S LiPo. For sports flying, e.g. Sunnysky M4526R 540KV, for extreme 3D flying Sunnysky M4530R 518KV.
Suitable regulator for sports flying: Alternate for 130-150A helicopters, e.g. Hobbywing Platinum PRO 130A-HV V4, Platinum PRO 130A-HV Opto V4, etc.
Suitable controller for 3D and extreme 3D flying: AC HV (Opto) for 200-300A helicopters, eg Hobbywing Platinum 260A-HV OPTO V5.
Drive battery: 12S (2x 6S) LiPo 4500-5200 mAh min. 60C or 14S (2x 7S) 4000-4500 mAh min. 60C.
The kit contains: Complete parts of the helicopter mechanics, but without the blades of the supporting and leveling rotor, engine and electronics, construction instructions.
