Welcome to the exciting world of RC (radio controlled) flying! If you've ever dreamed of learning how to fly remote controlled models, you're now just one step away from making your dream come true. Even if you've never flown a model airplane before, the Duet S 2 is a great choice to fly in meadows, parks, soccer fields, and other suitable areas where larger models can't fit. It features Horizon Hobby's exclusive and innovative SAFE® (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology, which helps prevent disorientation and crashes, so you can learn to fly more easily. Beginner and Expert modes let you choose the level of stability and control you need or are ready to try with just a push of the control stick. It is also equipped with telemetry functions that send the voltage level of the flight battery to the transmitter so that the pilot can check approximately how much time is left until the end of the flight. A 3-channel control offers elevator (ascend/descend), steering and throttle control, while two electric motors provide enough power and differential thrust to control flight direction.

RTR - Ready to fly

The model is completely assembled and ready to fly. The driving LiPol battery with a capacity of 150 mAh is charged directly in the transmitter, a set of 4 alkaline AA batteries is included in the package. The Duet S 2 is made of durable foam and has a removable undercarriage leg for take-off and landing or hand-held take-off and grass landing.

Fully assembled

The Duet S 2 is fully assembled and ready to fly right out of the box. This means that before you read the manual and insert the 4 AA batteries into the controller, you charge the battery and you are good to go.

Durable dragon model

The structure of the model's kite is made of EPS material, which is very light but also sufficiently durable.

Skill Level 1 - No experience required

Skill level 1 model airplanes are perfect for beginners and budding RC (radio controlled) pilots as no previous experience is required to fly them!

Detachable chassis

If you have the possibility to start from a flat surface such as asphalt, concrete, flat pavement, etc., you can use a chassis with wheels. When flying in a meadow, you can easily remove the landing gear and take off from the hand and land in the grass.

Power battery

The Duet S 2 model is powered by a pair of motors, which is powered by a 150mAh LiPol battery. It is charged directly from the controller itself, by connecting it to the connector (see instructions).

Protective covers for accumulators

Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for a long driving time. Conversely, the LiPo battery is especially susceptible to mechanical damage.
