RTF Basic packaging

The package includes a Mini Apprenice SAFE RC model with complete electronics, AC motor and controller installed. Spektrum receiver AR631 6CH AS3X/SAFE has integrated telemetry. You will refill your LiPol battery 1300mAh - 2200mAh 3S and a suitable charger, e.g. Spektrum charger Smart S150 1x50W AC.

Telemetry options

The Apprentice S 2 is equipped with a telemetry-equipped controller that can provide a range of real-time power system-related telemetry data to compatible Spektrum transmitters. It will announce the approximate remaining flight battery power through the number of LEDs and an audible warning from the DXS transmitter supplied with the RTF version. It also offers data on motor speed, current, total battery voltage to Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2 / G3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20 and others) during flight.

Lightweight construction

The model is made of strong and light EPO foam, the complete drive and electronics are installed, the model is covered with decals. The wing is attached to the fuselage with rubber bands so that it can rotate freely in the event of a hard landing or impact.

Easy assembly

Apprentice S 2 has a drive, servos and receiver installed. All you have to do is complete a quick and easy final assembly without the use of glue or special tools and you'll be ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge the battery!

Stable chassis

The 3-wheel landing gear with a steerable nose wheel and large tires offers better handling during take-off and landing, on a variety of surfaces from paved runways to grassy parks and even dirt roads.

Optional floats

Transform the Apprentice S 2 into a seaplane, it's easy with the optional Hobbyzone float kit: Hobbyzone (sold separately). Installation takes only a few minutes and all necessary parts are included in the aircraft and float kit.

The Mini Apprentice S has intelligent SAFE™ (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology that maximizes flight safety and ensures a smooth flight. At the same time, it maintains full controllability of the model, so the pilot has a feeling of maximum safety. The latest technology for safe flight training not only ensures a calm and stable flight (AS3X), but also has a function to launch the model into horizontal flight at the push of a button. If the beginner gets into an unstable position, just press the button and the model will automatically go into a horizontal position. When the button is released, manual control is immediately restored.

One of three flight modes can be selected for control.

• A beginner , it has a limited elevator and aileron tilt, when the levers are put in neutral, the model stabilizes in a horizontal position, the engine speed is regulated according to ascent or descent, and there is also assistance during take-off and landing.
  
• Advanced , greater steering tilt, extreme flight positions are limited. There is already great control freedom and minimal flight correction.
  
• Expert has no flight position restrictions.
  

Recommended batteries

To power the model, we recommend a LiPol drive battery with 3 cells (11.1 V).

If you decide to use modern Smart LiPo batteries in RC models of airplanes or helicopters, or to charge your batteries from other manufacturers, then we recommend the following chargers:

Accessories for normal operation

For the normal operation of flying RC models, you need suitable adhesives, a set of tools and a storage case for LiPol batteries. From our assortment, we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will surely come in handy for assembly and Modelcraft cutting knife with A6 pad for cutting.

For quick repair of model airplanes, we recommend the fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy glue. From our offer, we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g

Protective covers for accumulators

Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
