The model is equipped for driving with steel C-beam chassis, multi-link suspension with steel rods, straight solid axles and oil shock absorbers. Permanent four-wheel drive drives a DC motor through a gearbox, center shafts and worm gears in transfer cases. The licensed Lexus body made of durable ABS material is complemented by many details such as a roof rack with accessories, a snorkel and, last but not least, front LED lighting for amazing evening rides. Black Rhino Raid wheels with proven Nitto Trail Grappler M/T off-road tires are also licensed.
The model is equipped with an officially licensed Lexus GX 470 model body, which faithfully copies the details with which it is richly equipped. The model has a mock-up front grille, rear-view mirrors, door handles, roof rack, snorkel and more. The durable body made of ABS is available in several colors, just choose the most beautiful one for you.
Shock absorbers significantly affect the quality of the ride, so the model has oil shock absorbers that allow smooth driving on uneven terrain. The preload of the springs can be adjusted so that you can fine-tune the level of suspension according to the nature of the terrain.
The Spektrum SLT2 dual-channel transmitter offers a number of useful features such as throttle path adjustment and throttle control and limiting. It is ergonomically designed for long rides without fatigue and has a foam steering wheel for precise control. The RTR package is thus complete, including the transmitter's AA batteries.
Like the platform of the larger 1:10 scale SCX10™ II chassis, the SCX24™ chassis features robust C-profile steel frame members to ensure high chassis rigidity and strength, keeping the chassis stiff enough even under high axle misalignment.
The Tazer 180 88T engine on the SCX24 chassis is specially designed for 1:24 RC car models, where, together with the optimally adjusted gearbox, it provides the axles with the necessary torque for steep climbs.
The front and rear differentials are equipped with a worm gear to ensure that maximum power is transferred to the axles and at the same time ensure a permanent brake when the car is stopped. Small dimensions will allow you to create a greater ground clearance.
The front and rear straight axles are assembled from a two-part plastic molding in which the drive steel shafts are mounted in ball bearings. For optimal handling, the SCX24™ suspension is equipped with a three-point front and four-point rear suspension.
The high torque of the worm gear requires the use of steel drive shafts. Only they can transfer power to the wheels even on difficult climbs.
The front and rear drive shafts from the central transmission to the distribution boxes are 2-part splined and allow maximum axial displacement of the shafts while maintaining the transmitted power.
For maximum mobility, reduction of axle twist and elimination of torque, a 4-point suspension design has been developed, which is used on the rear axle of the SCX24.
Although it is a small model, it is equipped with the same ball bearings as a large car. No sliding bearings, only ball bearings. If you drive in a wet or dusty environment, don't forget to clean and lubricate!
For maximum realism, there are highly luminous diodes in the parabolas of the front lights and in the front bumper.
For a complete look, officially licensed Black Rhino Raid wheels with Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires complete the bodywork, offering a fantastic combination of off-road performance and smooth handling on hard surfaces.
The hinged body system provides easy access to the battery and control unit. The hinge system without clips allows you to quickly change the battery.

To power the USB charger, we recommend using a powerful Network universal USB adapter (source) (18W).
A charging cable with an IC3 battery reducer - JST-PH is required to connect the battery to the charger.
Hobbyzone charger 12VDC 2xLiPol 300mA can be used to charge the battery. The charger is intended for connection and power supply from a 12V DC car plug. We recommend the Traxxas 13.8V 3.5A mains power supply with a car socket for power supply from the 230V mains.
Attach a two-axle trailer to the model that includes LED lighting and ramps that are always ready and stored under the chassis. The towing device is part of the cart's packaging.
The model can be upgraded to AC drive using a sensor motor and controller. This Combo was specially developed for the SCX24 and AX24 platform. The alternating sensor drive offers high performance, long life and precise speed control corresponding to the throttle position. Upgrading to AC drive in this model does not require replacing the RC kit, as the installed control unit in the model can only be used as a receiver.

For the normal operation of the Axial RC car, you need tire glue, screw glue and a set of tools. We recommend an affordable tool kit for RC cars from our range. The model also uses screws in inch units, so we recommend a 1/20" Allen screwdriver.
Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly stuck to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer.
For routine maintenance, screw glue is needed. Screws screwed into the metal material (e.g. screws in the motor, worm gear in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.
Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for a long driving time. Conversely, the LiPo battery is especially susceptible to mechanical damage.
