Body features
Keep it real. The Knightrunner 4X4 RTR features an injection-molded grille, mirrors, door handles, wipers and other features that enhance the realism of the thermoformed polycarbonate body designed by James Knight of Knight Customs. An additional decal sheet contains additional overlanding graphics and sponsor logos that you can add to the Knightrunner 4x4 for a custom look.
Element RC works with leading aftermarket manufacturers to ensure the highest possible level of scale realism. These partners include, for example: DeMello Off-road, Front RunnerTM, MagnaflowTM and General TireTM.
Officially Licensed Tires: Officially Licensed General Grabber TM A/TX Tires. All Element RC tires are molded from soft, high-performance rubber that has been selected for versatile grip and wear characteristics. General Grabber TM A/TX tires are mounted on Urbine 1.55" beadlock rims. No more worrying about your RTR tires coming off.

James Knight, founder of Knight Customs, has been involved in radio controlled models since he was 9 years old when he first discovered hobby models. He soon became fascinated by the miniature scale details and the feats that go hand in hand with the hobby. James' passion is fueled by the fact that there is something magical about building a model that moves and looks exactly like a real life-size vehicle.
In addition to modern 1:1 scale tracked vehicles, James also passionately collects many vintage RC models from the 80's and 90's. His collection includes everything from the original RC10 to modern trail trucks and crawlers.
James founded Knight Customs in 2013 to take advantage of the expansion of 3D printing technology and bring his designs to the masses. Knight Customs is a pioneer in the use of 3D printing, which makes it possible to bring to market products that could not be produced using traditional manufacturing techniques. In recent years, Knight Customs has managed to work with many leading brands in the field of RC models. These collaborations ensure that the community has a wide variety of scale parts available to customize their favorite kit and make it their own. Knight Customs designs are available pre-printed from premium materials or as 3D files to allow you to print your own at home. Designed for scale adventurers, the Enduro Knightrunner 4x4 boasts many of the same performance features found in many of our other road-proven vehicles.
Stealth(R) X Transmission: At the heart of the Knightrunner 4X4 chassis is the revolutionary Stealth(R) X transmission from Associated Electrics. This transmission differs from the others in the ability to independently set the transmission ratios of the front and rear drive in three different levels. Out of the box, the Stealth(R) X transmission comes pre-installed with 5.7% gear ratios. As a bonus, 11.83% overdrive transmissions are also included, but not installed. Separately, a one-to-one gear ratio option is available for those who want to drive the front and rear gears equally.

Steering rack: The included aluminum rocker rack and steering plates give the IFS suspension a precise and solid feel.
Suspension: Heavy-duty injection-molded upper and lower suspension arms with optimized ball caps provide maximum suspension articulation along with the modern appearance of an off-road suspension scale.
Steering Blocks: Enduro Chassis: 100% compatible with steering blocks from previous Enduro chassis and allow steering up to 45 degrees.
Threaded Aluminum Damper Bodies: These aluminum threaded and fluid dampers keep the vehicle stable on the track and retain fluid even in the roughest terrain.
Independent Front Suspension: With durability, performance, agility and scale appearance in mind, the engineers at Area 51 Design Works came up with an independent front suspension rebuild kit. Now you can get the same set in an RTR vehicle. Pre-built with the same quality and features, this trail truck is equipped with the IFS system and is scale-ready to tackle rough off-road terrain right out of the box.
Electronics
Like all other Element RC vehicles, the Knightrunner is fully equipped with powerful Reedy Power electronics. The combination of a Reedy SC480X controller with a T-DYN connector and a 16-thread 5-slot DC motor gives the bikes extremely smooth performance. The Knightrunner is guided on the track by a three-channel 2.4GHz XP130 radio and a high-torque Reedy 1320MG metal-geared servo.
Reedy Power DC: Reedy Power 5-slot 16 thread DC motor provides ample torque with smooth power transfer. This allows for slow, precise acceleration while maintaining consistent performance over rough terrain and over obstacles.
Reedy Power Electronic Speed Controller: The SC480X waterproof DC controller is specially programmed for crawling with forward/reverse proportional control, two auxiliary output wires, low voltage LiPo disconnection protection and a T-DYN connector.
