The Nissan GT-R, is a sports car and grand tourer manufactured by Nissan, introduced in 2007. After more than six years of development, the production version of the GT-R was unveiled at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show, featuring the VR38DETT engine and other new technologies. The overall body is made of steel, aluminum and other materials such as carbon fiber.

In 2012, for the 2013 model year, Nissan upgraded the GT-R with increased output to 405 kW (542 hp), a new flywheel housing and retuned suspension. Nissan introduced the 2015 model year GT-R, which featured significant improvements over the previous model year. The engine output remained the same as the previous version, but the suspension setup was upgraded, resulting in reduced load fluctuations between the four wheels, increased stability and also provided more consistent grip. Contact with the tires has been improved by optimized electronic damper valve control. In addition, the front anti-roll bar springs and bushing links have been retuned, the brake system has been retuned for more stopping power, as well as the steering has also been tuned for better and easier handling. Cosmetic changes include new 20-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights and taillights with Adaptive Front Lighting (AFS). Nissan claimed that these improvements resulted in the GT-R gaining more straight-line and cornering stability, better ride quality without sacrificing its acceleration and cornering performance.
