Original information

The Nissan GT-R is a high-performance sports car and the Grand Tourer was produced by Nissan, which was unveiled in 2007. The GT-R is a completely new model that shares little with the Skyline GT-R, except for the distinctive four round tail lights. Like some later generations of the Skyline GT-R, the GT-R has all-wheel drive with a six-cylinder engine with two turbochargers. However, the all-wheel drive HICAS system was removed and the previous RB26DETT direct drive 6 engine was replaced by the new VR38DETT V6 engine. Due to the legacy of the GT-R, the chassis code for the all-new version was called the CBA-R35, or R35 for short (where CBA stands for emission standard prefix), and the naming trend from previous generations of the Skyline GT-R continues .
