Gearbox ready for upgrade

The Arrma Typhon Mega remote control car model comes with a gearbox that can handle high power and even an upgrade to AC drive, making later upgrades easier and cheaper.

Overload clutch

The Arrma Typhon features an overload clutch (torque limiter) instead of a slip clutch, which reduces maintenance requirements and protects the transmission from engine shocks.

Durable chassis

The chassis is designed to allow air to flow through to cool the components. Larger side covers provide maximum protection from dirt. A new center shaft cover is installed.

Racing buggy look

The realistically crafted bodywork holds firmly in place thanks to a clip-free system that is easy to release and clips do not detract from the model's appearance. The bodies are finished in bold color schemes and include a high-downforce wing.

Oil shock absorbers

Oil shock absorbers combined with independent suspension absorb bumps perfectly and guarantee driving characteristics like those on real cars.

dBoots 2-HO tires

The dBoots 2-HO tread tires are designed for a wide range of surfaces and provide excellent traction in all conditions. Vents allow air to move in and out of the tire to improve grip and allow the tire to dry out. The tires are mounted on solid nylon rims with foam inserts for improved grip and handling.

Servo S661

The digital servo control with high torque of 9kg.cm at 6V has metal gears and is waterproof*.

Mega 665 engine

The 665 14T motor is faster, more powerful and 11% larger than the standard 550 size motor.

Spectrum unit 2in1

The unit includes a combined 40A regulator with a receiver with SLT transmission protocol. Possibility of power supply with 2S LiPo or 7 cell NiMH battery. Simple setting with a shorting jumper. Port for optional external receiver. Power connector IC3.

Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz transmitter

The Spektrum SLT2 2-channel transmitter is the perfect size for any pilot. It can help you learn to fly your model safely by limiting your model's maximum speed to 50% or 75% until you are ready for full power. 4 AA batteries are included for the transmitter.

Accessories for normal operation

For normal operation of RC models you need tire glue, screw glue, a tool kit and silicone oil for shock absorbers. We recommend an affordable tool kit for RC cars from our range.

Tire glue is used to glue tires to the rim of the disc. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued to the wheel rim around the entire circumference! If the tire is not glued around the entire circumference, it may burst. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon and at the same time the glue is flexible after hardening. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer - see recommended accessories.

Occasionally, it is necessary to add silicone oil to the model's shock absorbers and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, only slight silicone oil leaks occur along the shock absorber piston rods. If the surface of the shock absorber piston rods or the condition of the seals is poor, the oil leak can be large. Repair kits or individual parts are available for these cases. Screw glue is required for routine maintenance. Screws screwed into metal materials (e.g. screws in the motor, set screw in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.

Protective covers for batteries

Protective packaging is designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for long driving times. On the other hand, LiPo batteries are particularly susceptible to mechanical damage.
