The innovation of Spektrum Smart continues with a complete line of regulators for RC car models. Smart technology offers a perfect overview of the state of your drive unit, you have information about current, temperature, total battery voltage, engine speed, etc. through telemetry in real time . And without additional sensors! The Smart Lite controller does not provide data from the Smart battery. Smart technology ensures that all of your model's electronics work together seamlessly for maximum efficiency and performance. The Smart system consists of a compatible Spektrum transmitter, a Smart receiver, and a Smart controller.

Telemetry information is transmitted via the data wire. So you no longer need any sensors or modules, everything simply goes together. The information will be displayed on the transmitter display (it is necessary to have a Spektrum 2nd generation transmitter with current firmware (Spektrum DX5C, DX5R, DX5 Pro, DX6R).

Data transfer over one wire

An amazing innovation is the very simple connection, which is a key issue especially for RC car models. Data is transmitted to the receiver via the SRXL2 protocol. Of course, Spektrum Firma controllers are also backward compatible with the classic PWM signal, so you can operate the controller on the classic PWM output, but without transmitting telemetry data.

Waterproof construction*

The electronics of Spektrum Firma controllers for RC car models are completely embedded in a special potting material that prevents moisture or dirt from entering the electronics. The regulator is switched on and adjusted with the buttons that are under the rubber cover.

IC3/EC3 connector compatibility

The controllers are equipped with battery connectors of the IC3 series. When used with a Spektrum Smart battery equipped with an IC3 or IC5 connector, the controller can receive and transmit battery telemetry data. EC3 connectors are backward compatible with IC3 connectors, but you will lose the ability to load data from the accumulator.

Wide programming options

Thanks to many adjustable parameters, you can adjust the behavior of the controller according to your requirements. Spektrum Firma controllers can be programmed in the following ways:

• Using the SET button on the controller.
  
• Using a programming card (order no. SPMXCA200).
  
• Using a Spektrum 2nd generation transmitter with a display (it is necessary to have sufficiently new firmware in the transmitter and to have a controller connected to the receiver that supports the Spektrum SRXL2 protocol).
  
• Using a computer and the Spektrum Smart Link app (the controller connects to the computer via the SPMXCA200 programming card. The app also allows you to update the controller's firmware.
