Already own a Spektrum transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) model airplanes offer the ability to get in the air faster and with the best possible control experience than ever before. The model comes pre-installed with a motor, ESC, servos, and a Spektrum 2.4 GHz receiver, so all you have to do is pair the receiver to your compatible transmitter, complete the final assembly, and go fly! Batteries and charger not included.

Exclusive technology

The E-flite micro Scrappy is equipped with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to eliminate the effects of wind and turbulence and provide a locked-in feel that makes you feel like you’re flying a much larger aircraft. Optional SAFE Select offers pitch and roll limits and automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off with the flip of a switch! And if you don’t want to activate SAFE Select features, pair the receiver normally and only the AS3X 3-axis stabilization will be active.

Exclusive technology

The Spektrum controller provides a range of real-time telemetry data, including motor speed, current draw and flight battery voltage, via the Smart receiver and compatible Spektrum transmitter equipped with Spektrum AirWare™ technology (DX6e, DX8e, DX6 G2/3, DX8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20 and more).

Versatile performance

The factory-installed Spektrum brushless motor can drive the uniquely shaped four-blade propeller with a 3S or 4S LiPo battery with a capacity of 300 mAh. Install a 3S battery for slow and smooth flying, or a 4S battery for superior vertical and aggressive aerobatic performance.

Functional elements

The Micro Scrappy is equipped with functional scale features such as flaps and LED navigation, landing and strobe lights. For maximum realism, the RC model airplane includes scale details such as rivets, panel lines and antennas.

Chassis

Oversized tundra-style tires on the main wire landing gear absorb bumps well, allowing you to taxi, take off and land on a variety of surfaces that most models of this size cannot handle – from grassy surfaces found in many parks and sports fields to gravel roads and paved surfaces.

Easy assembly

The Micro Scrappy model comes almost ready to fly from the factory with the drive system, servos and receiver included. Simply install the one-piece wing with a single screw. The model is fully painted and has decals applied.

Durable construction

The EPS construction ensures a lightweight yet durable airframe. It can also be easily repaired using special foam-friendly instant glues and epoxy adhesives. Or if you damage any parts and cannot repair them, a full range of replacement parts are available.

AS3X+™ stabilization

The model is equipped with a control unit with AS3X+ technology, which helps stabilize the model in flight. The receiver contains a three-axis MEMS gyro and accelerometer, and thanks to electronic stabilization, it is significantly simplifies the control of even small models and allows their operation, for example, in turbulence or windy weather. The model reacts similarly to a much larger model and its flight is calm, without maintaining its full controllability. AS3X brings more confidence in control.

The AS3X+ stabilization algorithm creates better flight performance, improves sensor accuracy and data rate, and provides pilots with a generational different feel compared to the AS3X. The new AS3X+ parameters and new Forward Programming settings make it the easiest all-round stabilization system to use. It features a significantly improved algorithm that has been thoroughly tested by experts.

SAFE Select™ technology for beginners

Thanks to the SAFE Select technology, even a less experienced pilot can control the model . The SAFE system prevents over-banking in turns and also limits climb and descent. By simply releasing the controller's control sticks to neutral, the model returns to level flight. These functions will be appreciated especially by novice pilots who are not yet fully confident in controlling models.

As the name SAFE Select suggests, it is an optional feature - it is up to you whether you want to use or disable SAFE technology. SAFE can also be enabled or disabled during flight using the transmitter via a switch on a free channel.

Accessories for normal operation

For normal operation of flying RC models you need suitable adhesives, a tool kit and a storage case for LiPol batteries. From our range we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm Allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). For assembly, Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will certainly come in handy, and for cutting, Modelcraft cutting knife with A6 washer.

For quick repairs of aircraft models, we recommend a fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy glue. From our offer, we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g

Protective covers for batteries

Protective packaging is designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity while maintaining small dimensions and low weight. LiPo batteries are particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore need to be carefully protected.
