The popular American agricultural plane Air Tractor from E-flite as a mini RC model with a span of 0.7m for beginners and experienced pilots. It is equipped with functional LED lights, flaps and large wheels. It features a large cockpit with pilot and dashboard, excellent flight characteristics, optional SAFE function, STOL short take-off and landing characteristics and AS3X electronic stabilization.
Founded in 1978, Air Tractor is now a leading manufacturer of agricultural, firefighting and other utility aircraft. Air Tractor aircraft are exported to more than 30 countries worldwide. The first series of AT-500 aircraft first flew in the USA on April 25, 1986. Since then, they have become popular and are among the most widespread in their class. Air Tractor ag commercial aircraft have earned a reputation for excellent performance and unrivaled versatility.
The specially tuned AC motor with 3-blade propeller has great performance for sports and acrobatic flying. The power supply is an optional LiPol 2S 7.4V or 3S 11.1V battery with a capacity of 280mAh - 300mAh with a JST-RCY connector. When using a LiPol 3S battery, you will have more power available without the need for any modifications or settings. Functional flaps improve low-speed handling while offering short take-off and landing (STOL) capabilities. Thanks to the small dimensions of the model, you can fly it in smaller spaces, in addition, the large tires of the wheels allow you to take off on low-quality take-off surfaces. The model's finished paint finish offers excellent visibility along with a striking appearance that is highlighted by LED navigation, strobe and landing lights. The model is 100% assembled and ready to fly right out of the box, plus this transport box has a handle, making it ideal for safe and convenient storage and transport of the model. The Spektrum receiver is equipped with AS3X technology, which helps stabilize the model in flight. The receiver contains a three-axis MEMS gyro and an accelerometer, and thanks to electronic stabilization , control of the model is simplified , for example in windy weather. The model reacts similarly to a much larger model and its flight is calm without maintaining its full controllability. AS3X brings more confidence in driving.
Thanks to the SAFE Select technology used, the model can be driven even by a less experienced pilot . The SAFE system prevents oversteer when cornering and also limits climbs and descents. Simply releasing the controller's control sticks will return the model to level flight. These functions will be especially appreciated by novice pilots who are not yet fully confident in driving the models.
As the name SAFE Select itself suggests, this is an optional feature - it's up to you whether you want to use or disable SAFE technology. The pairing method determines whether the SAFE function should be turned on or off. It is also possible to turn off or turn on the SAFE function and the flight mode using a free channel of the transmitter.
Already own a Spektrum™ transmitter? The model airplane in the Bind-N-Fly® (BNF®) version is completely ready to fly, it has an installed engine with a regulator, servos and a receiver. It features top-of-the-line Spektrum® 2.4GHz technology to pair the model with your Spektrum DSMX® / DSM2® aircraft transmitter, so you can be flying in no time out of the box.
The UMX™ Air Tractor is equipped with a control unit that includes a Spektrum™ controller and receiver that provides real-time flight battery voltage telemetry to compatible Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX14, iX20 and others) during flight.
The UMX™ Air Tractor is equipped with the exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. The AS3X's electronic stabilization works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence and deliver a locked-in feel that makes you feel like you're flying a much larger aircraft. The optional use of SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off during flight with the flip of a switch.

Large Tundra-style tires absorb bumps and provide excellent propeller clearance, so you can fly over surfaces most models of this size can't handle, including low grass, gravel and dirt paths, and paved surfaces.
The UMX™ Air Tractor design allows for both slow training and sport flying as well as aggressive aerobatics, all in one flight! Functional flaps, a lightweight airframe and a powerful AC motor allow it to take off quickly or land on a shorter runway than other models of a similar size.
Like the larger E-flite Air Tractor 1.5m model, the UMX™ Air Tractor is equipped with realistic-looking LED landing, navigation and simulated strobe lights that are factory-installed and powered by a flight battery.
The construction of the model is very durable and easy to repair thanks to the advanced material of rigid and light EPS foam. But in case you damage any part of the model airplane and cannot repair it anymore, there are a number of replacement parts available.
You can have the E-flite UMX Air Tractor ready to fly very quickly out of the box! It features industry-leading Spektrum™ 2.4GHz technology, ready to pair with your Spektrum DSMX®/DSM2® transmitter, so you can be flying within minutes of opening the box. Just add a suitable LiPol battery (not included in the package).
For commissioning, it is necessary to add a 6+ channel Spektrum DSMX/DSM2 transmitter (Spectrum DXe, DX6 or higher), a 2S - 3S LiPol battery with a capacity of 280 mAh to 300 mAh and a suitable charger. The model is equipped with a JST-PH battery connector, we recommend using a charging cable with bananas or a Celectra charger to charge the battery with a JST-PH connector.
The model is equipped with JST-PH and JST connectors, i.e. the model is powered directly from the balance connector of the SPMX3002S30 battery. To charge the battery, we recommend using either a Celectra charger or a Spektrum conversion charging cable, IC3 battery - 2S JST-PH male. If you use a SPMX3003SJ30 battery with a JST connector, it connects directly to the model's control unit, for charging you can use the Spektrum conversion cable IC3 battery - JST device.
Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for a long driving time. Conversely, the LiPo battery is especially susceptible to mechanical damage.
