SMART technology

The Carbon-Z T-28 is equipped with the exclusive Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite controller, which can provide you with a range of real-time drive-related telemetry data, including motor speed, current, battery voltage and more, thanks to the Smart feature, via compatible receivers and transmitters equipped with Spektrum AirWare™ (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX14, iX20).

Powerful AC drive

The installed AC motor is compatible with 6S 3200-7000mAh LiPol batteries. You can use a 3200mAh LiPol battery for light weight and low surface load, or a 5000mAh LiPol battery for an optimal balance between power and handling, or up to a 7000mAh LiPol battery for long flight times of 10-15 minutes. The engine cover has a model of a radial engine installed, which greatly contributes to the realistic design of the model.

Retractable landing gear and flaps

The model has installed a 3-wheel retractable undercarriage with a steerable bow leg and more durable and reliable folding mechanisms. Flaps and LED landing and navigation lights are also installed, which are functional elements that take your experience to a higher level.

Rigid and durable Carbon-Z construction

The Carbon-Z construction combines solid and very durable and stiff EPO foam with appropriately placed carbon reinforcements, which add to the model's strength and mainly increase rigidity, so the construction comes out lighter than classic all-wood but is much more durable. In addition, possible repairs in the event of damage are facilitated. The cockpit with the pilot and dashboard is also ready.

AS3X™ stabilization

The Spektrum receiver is equipped with AS3X technology, which helps stabilize the model in flight. The receiver contains a three-axis MEMS gyro and an accelerometer, and thanks to electronic stabilization , control of the model is simplified , for example in windy weather. The model reacts similarly to a much larger model and its flight is calm without maintaining its full controllability. AS3X brings more confidence in driving.

SAFE Select™ technology for beginners

Thanks to the SAFE Select technology used, the model can be driven even by a less experienced pilot . The SAFE system prevents oversteer when cornering and also limits climbs and descents. Simply releasing the controller's control sticks will return the model to level flight. These functions will be especially appreciated by novice pilots who are not yet fully confident in driving the models.

As the name SAFE Select itself suggests, this is an optional feature - it's up to you whether you want to use or disable SAFE technology. The pairing method determines whether the SAFE function should be turned on or off. It is also possible to turn off or turn on the SAFE function and the flight mode using a free channel of the transmitter.

Advantages of the SAFE Select™ function:

Accessories for normal operation

For the normal operation of flying RC models, you need suitable adhesives, a set of tools and a storage case for LiPol batteries. From our assortment, we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will certainly come in handy for assembly, and for cutting a Modelcraft cutting knife with an A6 pad.

For quick repair of model airplanes, we recommend the fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy glue. From our offer, we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g

Protective covers for accumulators

Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
