SMART technology

The Habu SS 50mm EDF is equipped with the exclusive Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite Controller, which can provide a range of real-time power system-related telemetry data, including motor speed, current, battery voltage and more - with SMART batteries via compatible receivers (including AR631) and Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20 and others). In addition, the optional thrust reversal can help shorten the range and enable reversing.

EDF power and thrust

The Spektrum 2628-4900Kv 6P motor drives a 12 blade 50mm blower rotor and can be powered by a wide variety of common and popular 3S LiPol batteries. Install a 1300mAh battery for low weight, an 1800mAh battery for an excellent combination of power and weight, or a 2200mAh battery for maximum power delivery and the longest flight times!

Unique optimization

Jets are typically fast machines that are more difficult to fly than most similar propeller-driven counterparts, which can make flying difficult for less experienced pilots. The unique and optimized airframe design of the Habu SS improves controllability both at low speed and at higher speeds, making it one of the easiest jet models to control!

More options

The light and durable structure of the Habu Super Sport model aircraft is made of EPO reinforced with composite, it is completely finished and painted, including decals. Unlike other models in the 50mm class, the model also has a controlled rudder, for better control and aerobatic abilities.

Detachable chassis

The wide 3-wheel landing gear with steerable nose wheel offers great ground handling for easier take-offs and landings on a wide variety of surfaces from paved runways to dirt and even short grass. Or you can remove the landing gear to achieve higher speed and vertical power and take off with a hand throw and land on grass.

Easy assembly

The Habu SS 50mm EDF is supplied assembled with the blower, regulator, servos and receiver installed (BNF® Basic version only). All it takes is a quick and easy final assembly, without the use of glue or special tools, and you'll be ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge your battery!

Recommended batteries

We recommend a 3-cell (11.1 V) LiPol drive battery to power the model.

Accessories for normal operation

For the normal operation of flying RC models, you need suitable adhesives, a set of tools and a storage case for LiPol batteries. From our assortment, we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) and Modelcraft cutting knife with A6 pad for cutting will certainly come in handy for assembly.

For quick repair of model airplanes, we recommend the fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy glue. From our offer, we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g

Protective covers for accumulators

Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is especially susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
