Characteristics
One of the most popular Cessna 150T tourist aircraft as an RC model with a span of 2.1 m for remote control. The popular model of the topplane made of durable EPO material is equipped with a powerful AC drive, AS3X and SAFE Select functions for easy flying even for less experienced pilots. The faithfully crafted model is newly equipped with Spektrum Smart components, thanks to which you have access to telemetry data of the model, such as engine speed, current, total battery voltage and more. The letter T in the model name indicates the Taildragger chassis with large Tundra-style tires and a steerable spur, for a safe landing even on a less level surface.
The E-flite Cessna 150T model is fully equipped, in addition to the controlled ailerons, elevator and rudder, it also contains flaps for take-off and landing. To shorten the range during landing, the engine reversal can be optionally set (this function is only available with at least a 7-channel transmitter, more information on setting here). The successful design, together with fast servos with metal gears, provides excellent flight characteristics. The two-part wings with quick-screws and integrated hands-free connectors for quick connection enable quick preparation for take-off. The mock-up appearance is underlined by LED lighting.
Electronic stabilization
The Cessna 150T e-flite is equipped with exclusive Spektrum ™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. The AS3X works in the background to eliminate the effects of wind and turbulence. Optionally, the SAFE Select function can be activated, which limits the tilt of the model in flight, and when the cross controls return to neutral, the model is automatically put into horizontal flight. The SAFE Select function can only be assigned to a switch and activated if you wish. If you do not want to use SAFE Select at all, you simply pair the receiver without this function according to the instructions and only the 3-axis AS3X stabilization will be active.
Smart technology
Spektrum Smart technology offers more information about the model, telemetry transmission, easier operation and battery care. All SMART components, including batteries, are able to communicate and transmit in real-time telemetry. To display telemetry (engine speed, current, battery voltage and more) it is necessary to have a Spektrum transmitter with Air Ware function (DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2 / G3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20 and other transmitters ). When using the Spektrum Smart battery, it will also have the voltage of individual cells, temperature, ...
Regulator and power supply
The installed Spektrum Smart Avian ™ 60A controller and high-performance AC motor are compatible with a wide range of batteries. Use a 4S battery for slow and smooth flying, a 5S battery for higher performance or a 6S battery that will allow high vetric performance of the model. You can install a 3200 mAh battery that keeps weight light, 5,000 mAh for a great balance between power and maneuverability, or up to 7,000 mAh to achieve a long flight of 10-15 minutes.
Optional floats and three-wheel chassis
If you are a fan of seaplanes, the Cessna 150 can be equipped with an optional set of floats and a wire chassis float carrier, installation is easy and can be done in minutes.
You can also mount a classic three-wheel chassis from a Cessna 150 on the model.
LED lights and flaps
The model includes LED lighting that adds to the authenticity. The lighting includes landing, navigation and strobe LEDs. The lights are powered by a powered battery.
The model is also equipped with functional flaps for shorter take-offs and landings.
Quick installation, Hands-Free Servo Connection
When mounting the wing, the "Hands-Free Servo Connection" system is used, which ensures that all necessary connectors of the aileron servos, flaps and lighting are connected to each other when the wing is pushed to the fuselage. Look no further for the right cables with connectors. The two-part wing is secured with bolts and nuts and no tools are required for assembly / disassembly.
Construction
The Cessna 150 model is extremely versatile, it can be used as a relaxed recreational model or use its acrobatic skills. Excellent flight properties are given by the composite construction of EPO material and fast servos with metal gears.

Accessories for normal operation
For normal operation of flying RC models, you need suitable adhesives, a set of tools and a case for storing LiPol batteries. From our range, we recommend a quality set of 1.5 / 2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0mm Allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) and a Modelcraft cutting knife with an A6 washer will certainly be suitable for assembly.
For quick repair of aircraft models, we recommend a fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy adhesive. From our offer we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g
Protective covers for batteries
Protective covers are designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is prone to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
