Information about the original:
The F-16 Fighting Falcon, produced by the American company General Dynamics since the late 1970s, is a true icon of the history of military aviation. It was originally developed based on the needs of the United States Air Force, which needed a modern and efficient single-seat day fighter for air superiority. However, the project gradually developed, resulting in a multi-purpose all-weather aircraft with extraordinary operational flexibility. The F-16 features an original design easily recognized by the frameless bubble canopy of the cockpit, which guarantees the pilot a great view. The F-16 received innovative solutions, such as a control stick located on the side, a "fly-by-wire" control system and modern avionics, which significantly improve its flight and combat capabilities. Pilots appreciate the "Fighting Falcon" for its excellent maneuverability and reliability. Its armament includes a built-in 20mm M61 Vulcan cannon and, thanks to its pylons, it can also carry a huge range of offensive weapons such as rockets and bombs. The F-16 has been adopted by many air forces around the world and has been deployed, often with great effectiveness, in several combat operations.
