Original Information:
Schwerer Wehrmachtschlepper (sWS) was developed as a medium half-belt transporter for transporting supplies to units at the front and a towing vehicle for light cannons. However, other superstructures were gradually deployed on the large rear cargo bay. One of these modifications was Panzerwerfer 42 auf sWS with a 10-inch 15cm Nebelwerfer 42 launcher installed on an armored ammunition magazine. This rocket launcher was originally intended as a tool for the creation of smoke screens, but soon began to be used as a real cannon for launching high-explosive ammunition. He could shoot missiles with a huge deadly effect. The original design of the transport car was therefore reinforced with additional shields, which provided the crew with better protection against enemy fire, but also the negative effects of the rocket itself.
