We recommend buying
To finish, you need to paint the body. Lexan bodies are always supplied as a semi-finished product, intended for cutting and painting. First of all, you need to cut the body nicely, to make the holes for the wheels as round as possible, you can use curved Lexan scissors. For flat surfaces, we also offer straight Lexan scissors.
When choosing colors for a polycarbonate body, you need to be careful to buy a real spray for Lexan, for example H-SPEED Spray for Lexan 150ml white, which has a special composition so that it is "etched" into the body, the colors are then flexible and resistant to peeling and cracking even with the greatest impact.
Before painting, it is necessary to thoroughly degrease the bodywork, most manufacturers recommend washing the bodywork with spring water. After degreasing, use masking tape on the inside of the bodywork, e.g. 24mm masking tape to create your chosen design, or apply the masking stickers supplied by the manufacturer.
It is important to know that Lexan bodies are painted from the inside, which makes the body resistant to abrasion. Painting should best be done in rooms with room temperature. We apply individual colors in at least three layers, it is important to apply the color from a sufficient distance, at least 15-20cm.
