Aluminum chassis sides

The chassis frame consists of two vertical side panels made of high-strength aluminum 6061-T6, which are connected by an internal structure and form a rigid frame to which other chassis components are attached. The vertical plate chassis not only has extreme strength and durability, but also allows for multiple suspension configurations.

Engine pitch mounting holes

The motor bed is ready for motor assembly with different pinion sizes. The holes in the motor bed set the exact pitch when used with 12-16 tooth pinions.

Folding body

The body is attached to a composite frame, which folds back for easy access to electronics and batteries. In the closed position, it is attached with wire fuses.

Wheelie Bar with two setting positions

When accelerating, the car mounts to the rear wheels, so behind the rear wheels is a bar with a support roller, which is mounted in two ball bearings. The bar can be preset in two positions / p>

Multi-part molding of the rear axle

The construction of the multi-part axle not only has a practical function in servicing the differential but also has a mock-up appearance like a real monster. Chassis rods, shock absorbers and differential drive are attached to the axle.

Central differential with shock absorption

The oil-filled center differential allows the use of high-performance drive with the added protection of the Cush Drive damping element. Cush Drive is a rubber elastomer that absorbs shocks between the engine and wheels and minimizes drive shocks.

Long stroke shock absorbers

Because the axles twist considerably when driving, the shock absorbers must respond in every position, so they have an extra long stroke. They are filled with oil and have rubber stops in case they land in the extreme position.

Optional fixed gear

In many cases, the use of conventional differentials may not be suitable; a permanent grip, for example when driving on a loose surface, can be achieved by eliminating the rotation of the axle differentials. This can be achieved by exchanging for a fixed differential.

Differential tuning

Silicone oil-filled differentials allow more tuning options for optimum performance on a variety of surfaces. The base oil densities are 100k at the front and rear, and 500k at the center. The center differential allows you to tune the power distribution back and forth for optimal performance for specific conditions.

Short Course wheels with replaceable center hub

Short Course style wheels with a 17mm hexagon reduce the rotational weight of the tire. An optional 12mm center hub is available, so you can run these bikes on multiple cars.

Optional 12mm aluminum hexagons

An optional 12mm aluminum hex carrier is available for the LMT, so you can use spare parts and tires from popular brands.

Monster Truck mock-up tires

According to the actual Monster Jam truck tires, tires were also created for this model. Classic tires with an arrow tread pattern are used, which have an excellent grip and have proven themselves on a loose or clay track.

Adjustable servo saver

The adjustable servo saver allows you to adjust the stiffness of the steering lever and adjust either the stiffness for maximum steering or to set a softer steering that absorbs shocks to a large extent and ensures maximum servo protection.

Model details

Exhaust mock-ups, body frame or lighting, the model is complemented by elements that complete the illusion of a real car. The body is available in Grave Digger or Son Uva Digger racing cars.

Cockpit rider

Fastening the battery with an elastic band

The LMT is equipped with a battery fastening system using a rubber universal elastic band, which firmly holds the battery in place, is flexible and therefore does not damage the battery.

Smart indication of the status of the drive battery

There is a SMART BATTERY LEVEL with four LEDs on the top panel of the DX3 transmitter. This is a useful indicator of the status of the Smart battery voltage. If you use a SMART battery, you can quickly see the status of your SMART battery by simply looking at the transmitter panel. As soon as the battery voltage drops, the LEDs gradually go out and when the lower voltage limit is reached, the last LED flashes and an alarm sounds.

The model is controlled by a modern SPEKTRUM ™ FIRMA ™ 130A SMART controller with a 32-bit ARM Cortex M4 microcontroller, which is able to sense complete telemetry and transmit it to the receiver using an integrated wire in the new IC5 connector. Data is transmitted via the SRXL2 protocol. The controller reads information about the type, temperature and voltage of the battery cells directly from the Smart battery. Real-time current, temperature, total battery voltage, battery cell voltage, battery temperature, remaining capacity and motor speed are available.

The electronics are completely encapsulated in a special potting compound, which prevents the entry of moisture * or dirt into the electronics. The controller is switched on and set with the buttons under the rubber cover.
