MEDIUM ENGINE CONFIGURATION

The mid-engine configuration of the Losi Mini-B 2WD racing buggy is the basis for a well-balanced chassis on high traction surfaces, allowing for better performance on more racing surfaces as well as better precision steering and high traction.

ALUMINUM CHASSIS

The Mini-B is built on a 1.5mm thick aluminum base plate, material grade 6061-T6. The aluminum chassis has greater strength, durability and rigidity.

THREADED OIL FILLED SHOCK ABSORBERS

The shock absorbers have threaded sleeves that allow easy adjustment of the preload and thus the driving style. In addition, the shock bodies feature an adjustable bottom-filling shock liner with two O-rings to increase tightness and keep oil in the shocks.

SPEKTRUM SMART G2 2S LIPO BATTERY

The included 7.4V 810mAh 2S Smart G2 50C LiPo battery not only offers a high capacity for a long operating time, but also stores its charging parameters on an integrated microchip. This data is automatically loaded into the included Smart charger when the battery is connected. Safe and accurate charging starts immediately.

SPEKTRUM SMART G2 USB-C CHARGER

Using the innovative Spektrum Smart technology, the included 2S LiPol battery automatically communicates with the Smart USB charger from the moment you connect it. You don't have to worry about the correct charging settings - everything is set automatically. Charging is convenient, safe and easy!.

RACING PROVEN TIRES

Wide Body Rib front tires mounted on discs ensure precise steering on both firm and loose surfaces. Big Shot rear tires are proven Losi tire designs. The rear driven wheels are wider, the fine tread tire has great traction.

METAL GEAR GEAR

The transmission is designed to handle the enormous power of the Mini-B BL AC motor system. All gears are metal and are mounted in ball bearings for smooth and efficient transmission.

BALL BEARINGS

The entire mechanics of the car is equipped with ball bearings for maximum fluidity of the rotating movement of the rotating parts, which is an absolute necessity for racing!

SERVO SPEKTRUM SX108 WITH SERVOSAVER

Spektrum SX108 servo steering turns the Mini-B front wheels with a torque of 3kg.cm. Its servosaver provides a consistent steering feel while protecting the servo from sudden jolts caused by hitting track obstacles.

SPECTRUM SLT2 2.4GHz TRANSMITTER

The Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz transmitter offers a number of useful features including steering trim, steering speed and reverse. Using a throttle-limiting switch, beginners can limit their access to the buggy's full speed potential to 50% and then gradually increase to 75% and 100% power, ideal for gradually and safely learning car handling skills.

SPECTRUM SR315 RECEIVER

The Spektrum SR315 dual protocol 3-channel receiver has great range and response thanks to a secure 2.4GHz connection. It has an extra port for racing transponders and allows you to upgrade to more powerful Spektrum transmitters without having to buy a new receiver.

USB source

We recommend a powerful QC 3.0 USB source to power the USB charger. With this source, you can achieve significantly shorter charging times compared to classic 5V USB sources (such as phone chargers).

Smart G2 batteries are even simpler and safer, thanks to the absence of a balance connector. In addition, G2 batteries have up to 3x faster automatic discharge into storage mode. Smart G2 batteries can only be charged on Spektrum Smart and Smart G2 chargers.

To shorten the charging time, you can use universal chargers with a power of at least 50 W.

Accessories for normal operation

For normal operation of Losi RC cars, you need screw glue, good quality tire glue, silicone oil for shock absorbers and a set of screwdrivers. From our assortment, we recommend an affordable set of tools for cars or a high-quality Allen screwdriver set 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm. We recommend viewing the Tool Kits

The thread or head of the screw is dripped with screw glue, which fixes it and the vibrations caused by driving prevent the screw joint from loosening. The screw adhesive has a special composition that allows the screw connection to be easily loosened with an adequate torque without damaging the screw head. Never use ordinary instant glue, it might be impossible to loosen a screw stuck like this!

Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly stuck to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. Never use ordinary instant glue - it is not flexible after hardening and cracks would gradually form in the tire around the rims!

Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the dampers of the model. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large. For these cases, so-called repair kits are supplied. In the range of tuning parts, piston rods with an extremely hard TiN (titanium nitride) coating are delivered to all shock absorbers. Piston rods with a TiN surface are easily recognized by their golden-green color.
