GERMAN TORPÉDOBOREC FROM 17 "DIETHER VON ROEDER"
From 17 Diether von Roeder was the main ship of the class of 1936 German destroyers. Even with a displacement of 3415 tons at full load, the machine was able to reach a speed of up to 38 knots, carrying a very powerful weapon on its deck: five 127 mm cannons, two two-headed 37 mm antiaircraft guns and six 20 mm guns. In addition, the ship also had two 533-mm torpedo tubes, underground charges and mines. Destroyer Z 17 Diether von Roeder was sunk during the Battle of British Destroyers and Battle Ship Warspite (Second Battle of Narvik) on April 13, 1940.
