Model information:

The Tiger I is an excellent choice for someone who wants functionality within a kit. It is designed in 1:35 scale and its tower is fully poseable, including movable wheels and tracks, which are also separately connectable. Although the German Panzerkamfwagen VI Tiger heavy tank saw combat deployment as early as September 1942, it is still considered the most famous tank design in the world.



The Tiger possessed a feared combination of firepower, armor protection and mobility, the 88mm cannon mounted on the Tiger tank and its excellent aiming optics allowed it to engage enemy armor at extreme ranges and certainly well beyond the range at which they could return fire.



Indeed, during the Tiger's early engagements on the Eastern Front, the most likely way a Tiger could be destroyed was at the hands of its own crew, who were desperate to prevent one of these magnificent machines from falling into enemy hands. From the date of its introduction into service, the Tiger was the tank by which all other tanks were judged, and its guns felled a large number of Allied tanks and military vehicles.
