Original and model information:
Typhoon-K is a Russian MRAP armored vehicle (protected and attack-resistant) with a 6 x 6 off-road drive, designed for the safe transport of military personnel and cargo. It can carry 10 - 16 soldiers who can leave the vehicle either by a ramp or a door, escape hatches are also on the roof in case of emergency. The cabin is made of bulletproof armor, which provides protection against 30mm rounds. The vehicle has been in production since 2015, has a hydropneumatic, independent suspension, automatic transmission and is powered by a 450 hp diesel engine. It can reach speeds of up to 80 km / h, maximum range is 1200 km. Typhoon-K is used by Russian military police during operations in Syria.
