Original information:
The first GAZ-AA truck, which later became the most numerous commercial vehicle of the Second World War, was manufactured on January 29, 1932. For its useful weight of 1.5 tonnes, people called it "Polutorka" ("one and a half"). This vehicle was incredibly durable, did not need much maintenance, was proud of excellent driving characteristics in the field and was driven to low-octane fuel. The legendary "Polutorka", along with the T-34 tank and the Katyush launcher, became one of the great symbols of the Great Patriotic War.
