Traxxas Rustler 1:10 HD remote control car model with brutal power and speed up to 104 km/h , thanks to the Velineon 3500kV AC motor and VXL-3S controller. The 4x4 drive and TSM electronic ride stabilization contribute to excellent handling. For high durability, the model is factory equipped with the Extreme Heavy Duty kit. A quick-release body mounting system is used for a clean look and easy battery replacement.
The proven Rustler design has been retained, including modular chassis construction, cutting-edge suspension geometry, a friction clutch drive train, and front and rear differentials. The regulator with three driving modes guarantees fun for adults and children thanks to the possibility of limiting the power to 50%. Control is provided by a TQi 2.4 GHz transmitter with precise control mechanics and the possibility of adding a Bluetooth module and telemetry (sold separately). Of course, a wide range of tuning parts is available, including complete spare parts.
The factory-installed kit upgrades the exposed parts of the model for unbeatable durability. Individual parts are made from the most durable materials that Traxxas uses. Whether you're riding rough terrain or jumping on ski jumpers, the kit is designed to last.
The modular chassis of the Rustler 4x4 can be easily dismantled into parts with just a screwdriver. Within a minute you have access to all important components, model settings and service maintenance. Solid, reinforced bumpers protect the model from impacts, while they are designed to maintain high approach angles.
A chassis with a lowered center of gravity, a wide track and an extended wheelbase, provides the perfect balance in speed and stability. The rigidity of the chassis is ensured by a proven spatial concept that is light and strong at the same time. The chassis is made of high-quality nylon filled with carbon fibers. The low center of gravity gives the car excellent driving characteristics.
The long stroke of the shoulders dampens even sharp impacts and improves the controllability of the model. In every situation, it will have a precise and quick steering response. Adjustable oil shock absorbers are used on the chassis for endless fun.
The Rustler is equipped with quality differentials with metal gears that are fully prepared for the power of the AC drive. Precision sealing with X-rings allows differentials to be tuned for specific operating conditions by changing oil viscosity.
The friction clutch uses a special semi-metallic friction material and aluminum alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and ensure consistent traction control. The clutch slip intensity can be adjusted without disassembling the model.
The long stroke Ultra Shock oil shocks are designed to absorb every impact. Double sealing X-rings ensure smooth operation without oil leakage. The properties of the shock absorbers can be changed by preloading the springs, or by replacing the springs with other ones, and the behavior of the shock absorbers can also be adjusted by changing the viscosity of the oil used.
The mechanics of turning the front wheels is realized by means of the Dula-Bell-Crank system, which ensures the precise movement of the rods to the wheels. The steering has an integrated servo-saver that absorbs shocks and protects the servo against overload.
Large 2.8" black chrome wheels provide precise steering and high ground clearance. Talon tires with an aggressive pattern transfer maximum engine power to all types of surfaces. The width of the tires also gives the new Rustler stability. The driver is a 12 mm hexagon.
This exclusive Traxxas patented feature is activated remotely via the transmitter. Automatically, by suddenly adding gas and braking, the model gradually swings and turns back on its wheels.
The function is ineffective when using a fully charged 3S LiPo battery.
The ProGraphic body is newly reinforced with a frame, and thanks to a simple clamping system, changing batteries is quick and without losing clips. All you have to do is intuitively insert the body at the front and secure it at the back with one movement of the clip.
Wheelie Bar rear wheels are essential on a performance model like the new Rustle 4x4 VXL. A reinforced rear bar with wheels provides protection to the thrust wing and prevents the model from tipping over when full throttle is applied.
Digital Traxxas servo 2075 high-torque waterproof with DC motor and nylon gears has a torque of 9.0 kg.cm and a speed of 0.17 s/60°@ 6.0 V. For water resistance*, the servo box and the output 1000 edges are fitted with seals. Two ball bearings provide very smooth operation.
The Velineon 550 AC motor is precisely tuned for use in 1:10 RC cars. It provides car models with the perfect balance between performance and optimal efficiency. Another advantage is the long service life, which is determined only by ball bearings. The bearings can be purchased as part of the service kit under order number TRA3352R.
The motor is of the 550 series, has a 4-pole design, which provides up to twice the torque compared to the two-pole version. The rotor is dynamically balanced and wrapped with Kevlar fabric to increase strength.
Waterproof* electronic Traxxas Velineon VXL-3S V2 AC controller with three driving modes, support for modern high-capacity LiPo batteries and easy control with the EZ-Set™ button. The Traxxas Link App is a powerful application that gives you complete control over the operation and tuning of your Traxxas RC model with stunning visualization and absolute accuracy of settings. Traxxas Link can display telemetry data that the model provides in real time, such as speed, rpm, temperature, battery voltage and model roll. (Telemetry provided varies by specific model type). You can share settings of RC models, you can create any number of profiles for a specific track or users, e.g. children. All in the app with the brilliant graphics that come naturally from Traxxas.

RC receiver Traxxas TQi 5 channel. TSM with telemetry for Traxxas TQi transmitters. Simple operation, pairing with a button. LED status indication. 3-axis MEMS sensors are integrated in the receiver for learning the position of the receiver.
The 5-channel receiver is also equipped with two connectors for connecting telemetry sensors RPM (revolutions) and V/T (voltage / temperature).
Furthermore, a telemetry expansion module can be connected to the 4-pin connector, into which you can connect up to 6 more sensors, including a very accurate GPS speed sensor.
The Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) stability system allows you to experience not only power, speed, acceleration and cornering at extreme speed, but also guarantees much easier steering and control on slippery surfaces such as dust, smooth concrete or even ice and snow.
The receiver has a MEMS 3-axis gyro and an accelerometer, which evaluates the movement of the model on the order of 100 times per second and corrects the model's direction of travel by appropriate interventions in the steering of the front wheels. Traxxas TSM does not limit engine power - you have 100% control over engine power. Algorithms are tuned for each model separately. The level of assistance is set using the multi-function controller on the transmitter or possibly in the Traxxas Link application.

To operate the model, you need 4x AA batteries for the transmitter, a drive battery and a charger for the drive battery.
The model can be operated on a 2- to 3-cell LiPo battery or a 7-cell NiMH battery (flat):
NiMH batteries do not require precise handling and are therefore suitable if the RC model car is operated by children (NiMH batteries are not destroyed by complete discharge). However, NiMH batteries do not provide such performance.
Traxxas universal chargers can charge Traxxas LiPo and NiMH batteries. Traxxas chargers are a simple and safe way to charge batteries. Traxxas uses the unique iD system , thanks to which you are always sure to connect everything easily and safely. There is an integrated chip in the battery connector, which the Traxxas charger automatically recognizes and sets all battery charging parameters for you. More information here.
The car is equipped with a holder for accumulators with a height of 25 mm, but you can also purchase a holder for higher types of accumulators (42 mm).
A complete set of LED lighting will make your model a real gem. The lighting includes a front LED strip for the bumper, a roof panel with a front (white) and rear (red) LED strip, a power module and mounting accessories.
Equip the model with a complete set of LED lighting for a breathtaking ride day and night. At the same time, the lighting provides a better overview of the model's position.
By adding a Bluetooth module to the transmitter, you get the function of wireless connection of the RC model with the Traxxas Link application, which you can install on your phone for free. We recommend a phone holder for attaching the phone to the transmitter.

For normal operation of the Traxxas RC car, you need bolt glue, good quality tire glue, silicone shock oil and a set of screwdrivers. We recommend an affordable set of tools for cars from our range.
The thread or head of the screw is dripped with screw glue, which fixes it and the vibrations caused by driving prevent the screw joint from loosening. The screw adhesive has a special composition that allows the screw connection to be easily loosened with an adequate torque without damaging the screw head. Never use ordinary instant glue, it could be impossible to loosen a screw stuck like this!
Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly stuck to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. Never use ordinary instant glue - it is not flexible after hardening and cracks would gradually form in the tire around the rims!
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the dampers of the model. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large. So-called repair kits are supplied for these cases. In the range of tuning parts, piston rods with an extremely hard TiN (titanium nitride) coating are delivered to all shock absorbers. Piston rods with a TiN surface are easily recognized by their golden-green color.
