Modular chassis

The all-new Rustler 4x4 modular chassis is easy to disassemble with only a screwdriver. Within a minute, you have access to all important components, model settings and service maintenance. Strong, reinforced bumpers protect the model from impacts, while being designed to maintain high entry angles.

New lowered chassis

The new Low-CG chassis ensures perfect balance and stability in the fastest turns. The lowered chassis was expanded to 20 mm for maximum stability.

Traxxas XL Electronic Controller 5

Traxxas XL-5 Waterproof Electronic Controller with Three Driving Modes, Support for Advanced High Capacity LiPo Batteries and EZ-Set ™ Easy Control. The XL-5 is equipped with a training mode that limits full throttle to 50%. This allows novice drivers or children to gradually learn about the features of the model and prepare for the full power of the car. • Sport : The default mode is forward, braking, and reverse.
• Race : Suitable for racing. Forward and brake is possible; reverse is not available.
• Training : Suitable for children or beginners. It is possible to drive forward with a power limitation of 50%, brake and reverse again with a power limitation of 50%.

Powerful Titan 12T engine

The RC car model is powered by a powerful Titan 12T DC motor. The engine is of the 550 series, the rotor winding has 12 turns. Compared to standard 540 Series engines, Titan 12T has 30% more power.

The body is newly reinforced with a frame and thanks to the simple clamping system, the battery change is fast and without staples. It is enough to insert the body intuitively in the front and secure it on the back with one movement of the clip.

Improved battery bed

Both the classic flat battery and the 7-cell NiMH batteries that have one spine link can be securely attached to the innovative battery holder. Reinforced latch retains any battery in all circumstances.

Friction clutch

The patented friction clutch utilizes special friction plates and aluminum plates for better heat dissipation and consistent traction control. Clutch intensity can be easily adjusted without removing the model.

Metal differentials

Traxxas Differential Differences are the latest in performance and efficiency management. Steel Differential Gears can handle DC and AC power. The X-ring precision silicone seal allows you to fine tune the differential by changing the oil viscosity.

Oil Dampers

Oil shock absorbers use X-ring technology for perfect sealing and smooth running. Damper operation can be adjusted by spring preload and oil viscosity change. The driving characteristics of the model can be set exactly to your needs.

Precise and reliable control

The control provides precise and reliable dual bellcrank with integrated servo-saver. This system protects the servo mechanics from sudden shocks while always ensuring accurate model control.

Fast charger with 12 V automatic

The package includes a fully automatic 12 V NiMH battery charger with connector to the car socket. The charger allows you to charge 6 to 7 cell NiMH batteries with a charging current of up to 4 A. The charge is terminated by the Delta Peak method.

2.4GHz TQ RC kit

The control is provided by a simple two-channel RC set TRAXXAS TQ 2.4 GHz. The RC kit works in the 2.4 GHz band, so you don't have to worry about choosing a free channel and worrying about interference from other transmitters. Driving will always be reliable. The antenna is integrated in the transmitter - there is no danger of it breaking in the fall or impact of the transmitter. The RC kit includes a trim control channel, further allows you to adjust the throttle channel and control channel. Different error and information states are indicated by a two-color LED on the transmitter. Programming and pairing with the receiver is done with a single button. You need only 4 AA alkaline batteries or 4 AA NiMH batteries to power the transmitter.
