The Schlingmann TLF16/25 (TLF = Tanklöschfahrzeug – Fire Tanker), built on the basis of the "Daimler Chrysler MB Atego 1529 AF", is used as a temporary water source in the bridging period until normal supplies can be restored, or as a water shuttle to remote locations without water supply. According to the standard, its tanks contain at least 2,400 liters of water, which is sprayed by a high-pressure 10-bar pump at a speed of 2,000 liters per minute. Thanks to the 279-horsepower engine combined with all-wheel drive, it can easily reach even the least accessible parts of the forest. The TLF16/25 carries a wide range of equipment for a range of tasks, not just firefighting and traffic accident response; in addition to the usual equipment, he also has a number of specialized equipment at his disposal. Among other things, there are ladders and a retractable lighting mast, which are located on the roof.
